After being a valued customer of BTCellnet for about 3 years, i have now left the network and changed onto another network. At the time of signing up to BTCellnet, mobile phones were not as popular as they are now. And basically it was a flip of the coin to decide which mobile phone network i should give my custom to. My phone bills each month were between £80 - £150, my highest bill being £200 - i knew i was on the wrong tarrif for my calls. I contacted BTCellnet who changed me onto a tarriff where i received more free calls per month and my call cost should have reduced. I never saw a difference in my bills and eventually rang to cancel my contract as it was becoming inaffordable. Being a teenager at the time, i knew having a mobile phone wasn't meant to be. Basically i used my mobile to speak with friends, or send SMS messages - i knew it was my problem not BTCellnets. So, after speaking with BTCellnet to cancel my contract, they told me i had to stay with them for another 10 months, as at the time i had just up-graded to a newer model of phone. The operator was very 'snotty' and when i asked if there was nothing at all she could do. She said, i could cancel, however i had signed a deal saying that i would need to pay back all call discounts i had ever received from them. In the end i kept my phone for the remaining 10 months. During that time and prior to that - i suffered from constant poor network coverage - faults on the text messaging network.. basically i couldnt wait to get rid of my phone with them. When i did, i signed up with a new network.. the operators were alot more helpful, immediately i saw a dramatic change in my phone bills and was alot more happier in general. I found BTCellnet to be most unsympathetic and definitely the most expensive. They didnt suit my needs at all and couldnt arrange a plan around me.

My first mobile was with BTCellnet and I have to say I received the same degree of customer service as yourself. Trying to upgrade was a nightmare and I eventually moved to one2one (now T Mobile). Steve
