(+) Everything compared to all the plasma's i reviewed except only rivaled by pioneer (-) found the football got distorted a little when was kicked high & long. from a long camera angle
Advantages: amazing sound and tv quality Disadvantages: very pricy
...the b&o televisions give you an amazing experience! they are by far the best brand as they have exeptional sound quality and very good image quality.
the image is provided by the panasonic factory, but the actual screen is costum made by b&o, making the quality much better than the best panasonic tv (this applies to all b&o tvs).
Now, the most amazing thing about b&o tvs and b&o sound systems is the sound- it is completely unbeatable! the speaker that goes under the tv will be more than 20 times more powerful and precise(quality) than any sony, samsung, panasonic,lg etc., thus explaining the very high price.
i myself have a b&o, but it is 32" BEOVISION 7 and i have a beolab 8000 (pair) which makes it 100 times better + it impresses everyone i know.
if you really have a lot of money in your wallet, then go for beolab 5 (£12...

Advantages: Great picture, looks cool, cheaper than competitor products Disadvantages: Expensive stand
...I spent 6 months looking for a new plasma TV. I read every review and bought every magazine. I thought about buying a Sony or the rated Pioneer but when I saw the Panasonic TH42PE30B, I really liked it but doubted it was as good as it was made out to be.
The mags raved about it, the guys in the specialist stores raved about it - now I'm doing it!
The picture is simply amazing and the black is really deeper than on any other plasma TV I've seen (believe me - I've seen ALL of them!). The contrast ratio of 3000:1 is something else, the depth of the picture is wonderful and there doesn't seem to be any pixelation as seen on other plasmas.
There are 4 scarts, a Freeview tuner and an analogue one too, and the sound isn't half bad either.
The picture on a digital signal is beyond anything I've seen from any other TV, plasma or otherwise...

Advantages: Large enough screen for good quality football veiwing and rather cheap Disadvantages: Hard to clean, Low quality picture and too bulky
...Last year We purchased a "Toshiba 42WT29B" for our living room. At the time this seamed to be a very good idea as they were going very cheap. Until then i never realy understood what people meant by good and bad quality pictures. This television in a nice way is "not very good quality". Although it isnt very good quality the size of the screen and price are definetly an advantage and are a real buying point although i personaly wouldnt advise anyone to rush out and buy it, you shouldnt knock it before you try it
Please make your own mind up i can only tell you what i think alot of people have thir own view.
Thanks and good luck buying....
