Advantages: amazing sound and tv quality Disadvantages: very pricy
...the b&o televisions give you an amazing experience! they are by far the best brand as they have exeptional sound quality and very good image quality.
the image is provided by the panasonic factory, but the actual screen is costum made by b&o, making the quality much better than the best panasonic tv (this applies to all b&o tvs).
Now, the most amazing thing about b&o tvs and b&o sound systems is the sound- it is completely unbeatable! the speaker that goes under the tv will be more than 20 times more powerful and precise(quality) than any sony, samsung, panasonic,lg etc., thus explaining the very high price.
i myself have a b&o, but it is 32" BEOVISION 7 and i have a beolab 8000 (pair) which makes it 100 times better + it impresses everyone i know.
if you really have a lot of money in your wallet, then go for beolab 5 (£12...

Advantages: Functional Disadvantages: Some annoying niggles
...A decent, functional TV, but with no particular shining good points. Unfortunately, a number of annoying design flaws spoil it.

It won't allow you to directly select one of the AV inputs from Standby, only a 'regular' TV channel. For the situation where all input is coming from AV equipment (Freeview, DVD etc) this can get a touch wearing.
Selection of the AV inputs is frustrated by the TV choosing to skip over any AV input where it doesn't detect any input; i.e. try and select AV2 where a DVD player is connected, and if you haven't switched the DVD player on yet, the Toshiba...

Advantages: DD5.1, DTS, ample power Disadvantages: Difficult to setup
...This was one of the first AV amps to include a DTS processor.
Not only does this amp have plenty of power but also some of the best processing systems inside.
This box of chips will take ages to set up, as you fine tune the five channels to your own tastes, but you can then sit back and listen to the quality of sound that it delivers.
One good thing that I found with this amp is that it does not seem to get to hot, alot of the other 5 channel av amps seem to get alarmingly hot.
Sony have now come out with a revised model STRDB930 witch has made the setting up procedures a little bit easier, a friend of mine has got this newer model....
