Advantages: Sound quality and looks. Disadvantages: Maybe would be better as wireless.
Having watched B&W gain in popularity over many years (I remember when they started), This model is something else. Passive speakers are my choice and need to be used properly, Not for the head bangers, moreb for the person who appreciates quaily music and therefore, quaility equipment.
Connection is no problem, although wireless would be nice.
However, they look great and deliver on all aspects.
Maybe a trifle costly, but when you usnderstand the quality of reproduction, then they are not expensive.
The overall projection of quality sound is tremendous.
I have always found B&W equipment extremely good quailty and value for money.
Keep it up B&W, I shall be looking at moving up to the larger range I have seen in the catalogue. ...

Advantages: Brillaint TV Disadvantages: Hard to get used to
One of the TVs in my house has just been replaced, we was lucky enough to get a deal on the Samsung PS50b451 instead of it costing around the £700 asking price a friend of ours used her staff discount and along with some vouchers, the TV cost us around £350 which is brilliant for what it is. bit of a bargain actually.
I thought I would review it to see if it is actually worth the £700 asking price to those who aren?t as lucky as us to have a friend who works in a shop that sells them.
Why choose this one?
The reason that we choose this particular TV is that we wanted one in the 50 inch size range to replace the old one, and when we had a look at the range available we found that this one was not only the cheapest for what it is, but also we found that this one was the better looking of the three we narrowed our choice down to ...
Advantages: Stunning looks, stunning looks, stunning looks & superb sound Disadvantages: Difficult to find, some manufacture flaws, small base without the feet
I found out about these speakers after they stopped making them and had only ever heard rumours or seen pictures of the silver versions. I was thinking about the replacement XT8's but you cannot see the lovely aluminium from the front of the new ones and they are £1,200 more. The silver versions are amongst the best speakers I have ever experienced. The clean retro lines and curves, the bold yellow paper-kevlar mid cone and unlike many others they are quite discrete yet powerful, these are some of the most beautiful speakers I have ever seen. The foot print and look were some of the most important factors in my decision to purchase followed by the quality and reputation B&W manage to maintain. Without the metal feet the base seems smaller and could be knocked over, watch out for parties. Although slim there are 2 bass cones which ...
