Of course this is made by Apple, so it will have a crazy price tag however I have found that of all my iPods this is the best value for money as you have so many features, many of which I use regularly and aren't just gimmicks!
The built in speaker in the 2nd generation iPod touch is incredibly disappointing. The sound is tinny and worse quality than most mobile phones, so is not a feature worth having at all. In fact i find it irritating as when i click Play when my headphones aren't plugged in my music plays and sounds horrrible! very embarrassing.
Overall the iPod touch is very easy to use, however some of the free applications have glitches, which is understandable as most are still in development. When I have had problems the Apple support online has been ...

the only other things I can find wrong is that you cannot connect your iPod to a different computer and if you do it will delete everything already on there. Then you cannot delete anything of the iPod on till you take it off iTunes and put the iPod on. Another problem I have found is that the iPod scratches very easily and there are no speakers in the iPod but the headphones are very good. ...

Tunes, although the more videos you put onto your iPod Touch, the less space for music and pictures. It is great to put on a film to watch at a time when you are bored such as on a train or on your lunch break at work!
Technical bits (explained!)
As I mentioned above in the storage section, this particular iPod Touch is the 8GB one, it is currently only available in black but I am sure they will soon come out with more colours as they have done with previous iPods.
The wireless works at 802.11 b/g (meaning that it works at a nice speedy pace!)
The colour display screen is 3.5 inch (diagonal) and is 320 by 480 pixels (nice clear, good quality screen).
