I have medium length hair thats quite thick, i seperated all my hair and curled sections as instructed in the booklet that came with the tongs. You have to curl your hair in a certain way for it to work otherwise it just straightens but once you get used to it, it becomes a lot quicker and easier to do. I sprayed each section with hairspray before and after i used the tongs to help the curls stay in.
However after an hour of curling my hair the first section underneath had dropped out maybe i needed more hairspray so i re did the sections underneath.
They are good value for money as i paid £39 and they create modern curls. They are fairly easy to use with 3 different heat settings and an on and off button once you get the hang of it.

I always have difficulty with these type of curlers. I tried using my GHD's and the curls weren't what I wanted. I think I'm just better with tongs lol. Good review :) x

Advantages: You don't need to re-straighten time after time, can create thing whispy curls very easily. Disadvantages: Damages hair, very expensive, yuo can get better for your money with babyliss.
