Not so safe Clippasafe harness
Review of Clippasafe Standard Baby Harness and Rein by mumagain

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Poor design, breaks easily

...I can not dispute that Clippasafe have produced a quantity of quality safety goods for young children and babies. But when it comes to these I would strongly avoid them and go for something made with stronger materials, such as leather with metal catches. I can not comment on how these perform when it comes to using these for walking a toddler. All I can say is that a child will tug and pull you into every direction but the one you want to go, so ... Makes for comfortable carrying
Review of baba sling Babaslings Baby Carrier by bryjk

Advantages: Comfortable, has a range of carrying positions, safe, relatively cheap
Disadvantages: Needs 2 people for initial fitting

...these times, there is the Baba Sling. My first forray into baby carrying was a nightmare. Neither me, or my baby, were comfortable. He always looked squashed up, and my back hurt after a 2 minute period. The Baba Sling however is a fully adjustable sling which can be adapted to most carriers. It is heavy duty cotton, with padded guiderails to support the baby. The range of colours means that I have found a carrier that I like, and that my husband ...
...for each use. The Baba Sling comes with a small booklet detailing all the possible carrying positions. It should be possible to use it for toddlers dependant on weight. The sling doesn't need oragami skills to change the carrying position, you just adjust where it lies, or how you position your baby. I managed a 3 mile hike with this sling, and had no back or hip pain afterwards. My son must have been comfortable - he fell straight asleep. ... Read review

Wilkinet baby carrier
Review of Wilkinet The Baby Carrier by mollyanna1

Advantages: soft and snug for small babies, comfortable
Disadvantages: needs lots of practice putting it on

I bought the Wilkinet carrier for our first son who is now four, recommended by a friend. We both had premature babies so the idea of a carrier suitable for babies from 5lbs was great. I used the navy cordroy carrier and found the main advantages to be the soft, well wearing fabric, the padding and the comfort. The carrier is very comfortable for both mum and small baby. The padding is in all the right places and with it being all fabric it is soft ...
...I only used it whilst he was a small baby facing me. I would recommend using the Wilkinet for babies whilst they are small and you can carry them facing you. It is very snug and secure and once you have the nack, fairly easy to put on. ... Read review

Being a Little Explorer
Review of LittleLife Explorer Baby Carrier by Pittypomm

Advantages: Freedom from the Buggy, Very Adjustable
Disadvantages: Hard to try out, Expensive

**************** Littlelife Explorer Child Carrier **************** Child carriers are a nifty little invention which allow you to carry your child around on your back - hopefully in relative comfort. They are very similar to normal backpacks in their variability in cost, size and design. We have always enjoyed walking, usually just long ambles around the English countryside, but occasionally we have tackled mountains as well. We didn't want to ...
...not thank you. **************** Littlelife **************** Littlelife is part of the same company as Lifeventure (who make backpacks, sleeping bags, camping gear and that sort of thing) and Lifesystems (who make first aid kits, mosquito nets and other things to keep you safe when you're off adventuring) so they boast a significant amount of experience in hard wearing materials and carrying technology. They make five different types of baby backpack ... Read review

Cruzer control?
Review of Mamas & Papas Babycruzer Deluxe - City Scape by Dogbert

Advantages: Secure once fitted, Hands free, carry baby for longer
Disadvantages: Clumsy and Awkward, hard to fit when out and about

...we had seemed to favour Mamas and Papas for many of our baby carrying needs we decided to get the Babycruzer Deluxe from our local M&P retailer for the not so tiny sum of £35. Although in the world of Baby Carriers, £35 is not considered to be very expensive at all. The Babycruzer Deluxe comes in two patterns, Famiglia (a brown pattern with M&P logo squares) and City Scape (an almost denim effect plain grey). Although this isn't a great deal of ...
...prams and car seats, it did suit us perfectly as we already had the City Scape scheme on a few other items. >>>Baby on Board The concept for the Babycruzer is very simple you strap your baby on to your front so that you can carry them around and still be able to use your hands for other things. It also helps save you from dead arms and pins and needles that can come from holding babies for long periods of time. The Babycruzer can be used for babies ... Read review
