A front based back breaker!
Advantages: Carries an older baby in front Disadvantages: No back Support and causes severe back ache.
...via a link from the Maclaren web site (Maclaren.co.uk), which linked to Kiddicare at the time. However, they have no links any longer although I’ve seen it recently in Babies R Us (at Toys R Us) but only in the store and not via their web-site.
Recommend It?
In all honesty, it’s a big NO! I think it’s a great idea to be able to carry your toddler in front of you and maybe OK for a quick trip to the local shop but certainly not ...

The phil and ted cocoon
Advantages: versatile and snug Disadvantages: could be a little more structured
...cocoon to go with my phil and ted sports buggy (with double kit) and found it to be very useful not only to add comfort to the buggy but also to use on its own as a carry cot. It fits into the buggy when it is in the complete recline position and is useful because you can move the baby from the buggy without waking her/him. The see through panel at the rear of the pushchair means that you can see the baby in the cocoon and can remove it from the ... ...stay secure within the buggy but there really is not much room for it to move around when placed in the buggy so it is quite secure. I used my cocoon with the double kit and found that it fits snugly inside the space between the extra seat for my toddler and the main section of the buggy. The baby is very well sheltered but also accessible. We also used the cocoon when we were in the caravan and simply placed it in the bed with us so that the baby ...

Phil&Teds double kit
Advantages: very versatile, easy to use Disadvantages: a bit expensive on top of the pushchair, needs more cushioning
I bought the double kit for my Phil&Teds sports buggy as I have a two and a half year old toddler and a five month old baby. I toured the baby shops trying out double pushchairs and I prefered the double phil&teds rather than the double inline buggies as the inline buggies felt too long and the balance did not feel right. The double phil&teds allows for a difference in weight between the children and feels sturdy when on slopes and going around corners. ... ...the double seat detaches from the main frame of the pushchair, it is not any heavier to fold down. It is very easy to attach and allows plenty of room for the child in the extra seat. I take my double buggy down several steps everyday and there is plenty of clearance to do so without bumping the bottom of the seat as you travel down. The fabulous thing about the double kit is that it can be used in two positions. When my second daughter was a newborn ...

obi baby carrier
Advantages: size and weight Disadvantages: not useful for extended hikes or very small babies
...that you could take the Obi carrier anywhere. Our carrier arrived without instructions and despite our best efforts we could not work out how to put it on. After finding the excellent instructional video on the internet it was clear how to load the child. In the second attempt we had one on our back in less than a minute but another minute later he was starting to wriggle free! (Addmitely we had interrupted his play in the garden).
We took the Obi ... ...the beach before using the Obi carrier to head home up the hill. Once again it was easy to load the child. Whilst my husband was happy loading children in on his own I preferred having some help to make sure they were in the correct position and happy.
Now my toddler was tired he happily cuddled into my back as we walked along. He seemed very comfortable and could have easily fallen asleep in that position. It was useful having your hands free and ...

Undecided whether I like this!
Advantages: smooth, good design, easy to use Disadvantages: not practical, expensive
...the wheels. The maxi cosi pram body is part of this travel system. It is the part which the baby should be in from birth and used for long periods of time as babies are meant to lie flat and not be in their carseats for more time than necessary. What does it look like?
It comes in various colours, we bought the blue slice one as it was on offer. I know they do it in red and grey but I'm not sure what other colours they come in now, they ... ...and the wheels of the maxi cosi mura are so large that it makes walking around with this pram very smooth so Baby Hope was always more than happy to snooze away whilst we walked. Negatives
Okay so so far this pram sounds ideal and I can't see any reason so far as to why I haven't really made up my mind as to whether I would recommend it or not but believe me there are negatives! What really frustrates me with this is that babies are meant ...
