Johnson's reputation does it for me Advantages: Smells just like new born babies Disadvantages: Not the cheapest version of smaller supermarket branded products Is it just me, or do all new mums have to have Johnson’s products? I think that many new mums do get given these products in baby essentials kits etc, as Johnson and Johnson’s have such a good reputation and I think the smell of their products epitomises the smell of new born babies. Impressive stuff! Advantages: Treats and soothes effectively Disadvantages: Stains ...either Bepantham or Metanium, with Metanium being the stronger and more effective of the two. I took a trip to my local supermarket and looked at both products. I noticed that the Bepantham seems to be aimed at preventing nappy rash where as the Metanium quite clearly stated that is was for the treatment of nappy rash and also had a soothing effect. I therefore bought the Metanium which cost £2.90 for a 30g tube. Metanium is a thick cream which ... ...Only a very thin application is needed and so a full tube will probably last through your child's babyhood! It can cause discolouring of your finger nails and contact with clothes should be avoided. I was very impressed with this product.
