Highly highly recommend Metanium Ointment for nappy rash.

Advantages: thick gives excellent coverage and protection
Disadvantages: spurts out the tube so you tend to get more than you need

Beat Nappy Rash with Metanium

Advantages: Clears nappy rash very quickly
Disadvantages: Leaves marks on clothing if not careful

I had only ever been told to use Sudacrem, which I found was good but didn't always clear up the rash but when my son first started teething he became very sore and his carers at his creche recommended metanium. I have now used this yellow cream since he was 6 months - he is now nearly two and it really attacks the rash and clears it very quickly. an all time must have to care for all skins all year round

Advantages: ideal for any age, any type of skin. leave skin soooo soft
Disadvantages: as it is an oil dont put it on just before getting dressed as it may mark clothing

Johnson baby oil gel....a must have for any age. I always used to use the oil but found it was a bit messy and I ended up using far more than I should have done. This gel formulation means you can use a small amount if required as it doesn't all come flooding out when you tip it to pour.
