Heinz mums own recipe -almost as good as home cooked!
Advantages: Good variety, no hidden 'no no' ingredients Disadvantages: Pricey
...for them is your own cooked and pureed, but these have to be a close second. Unfortunately though, as with all baby products they are quite pricey (but aren't they worth it!!), but usually you can get good deals if you shop around and use vouchers etc. Brilliant. Thanks Heinz ...

Farley`s Rusks, not only for the young!
Advantages: A good value baby and toddler treat Disadvantages: None
Farley's rusks may well be made for babies and toddlers but put a packet of rusks in front of me and I wouldn't be able to resist pinching one from the packet. I cant put my finger on the attraction but there is definitely something about the smell of the rusks that is very appealing. When my children were young rusks were considered as a luxury item, can you believe it?! But the odd packet managed to make its way into my shopping trolley. Now when ... ...one rusk in warm milk and the smell is still the very same. So lets take a look at what is in a Farley's rusk to make them so tempting. Farley's have packed their rusks with calcium, iron and added vitamins. Vitamins A, B, C, D and Niacin encourage healthy growth and development and of course the calcium helps to build healthy bones and teeth. The rusks are suitable for babies upwards of 4 months old, eaten mixed with milk as an introduction to solids ...

Food For Thought
Advantages: easy, cheap and tasty Disadvantages: none
Heinz Dry Baby Food
I was a bit apprehensive about buying this stuff for Jack as I was rather liking pureeing my own mix of fruit and vegetables and giving this to him. However now he is having a breakfast lunch and dinner I have found making so much stuff pureed rather difficult and I feel they are not as filling for Jack as something like this food. My friend had recommended this particular one to me as she said that her two children had absolutely ... ...6 months onwards.
Heinz boast that the food contains no artificial flavours or colours, that it is a good source of calcium, iron and zinc, that it is enriched with vitamins A, B, C, D and niacin. There are no added preservatives; it is gluten and egg free and suitable for vegetarians.
A good thing with using this sort of food is that you just have to add freshly boiled water and wait until it is the right temperature to feed to your baby. There ...

suprisingly yummy!
Advantages: no added sugar, tastes good! Disadvantages: not organic
I bought this as my normal choice was not available. I was a little skeptical as i prefer my organic food but thought i would give it a go!
Aafter having looked at the ingredients i was impressed to see that there was no added sugar in the pots. The pots had been sweetened naturally with fruit- a big thumbs up! They also provide a good source of vitamin C- another thumbs up!!
As for the taste- well its pretty nice! a creamy bananary flavour that ... ...say alike as these are suitable from 4months, although i would question this myself as nhs guidlines says dairy should not be given until 6months. This range is available in a total of 6 flavours including: 4 Fruity Custards: Apple & Mango, Banana, Pineapple, Fruit Medley and 2 Fruity Rice Puddings: Apple & Banana, Apricot. Overall they are quite yummy and healthy but i think i will still go back to Organix as This range is not organic ...
