Heinz mums own recipe -almost as good as home cooked!

Advantages: Good variety, no hidden 'no no' ingredients
Disadvantages: Pricey

...for them is your own cooked and pureed, but these have to be a close second. Unfortunately though, as with all baby products they are quite pricey (but aren't they worth it!!), but usually you can get good deals if you shop around and use vouchers etc. Brilliant. Thanks Heinz ...

Farley`s Rusks, not only for the young!

Advantages: A good value baby and toddler treat
Disadvantages: None

Farley's rusks may well be made for babies and toddlers but put a packet of rusks in front of me and I wouldn't be able to resist pinching one from the packet. I cant put my finger on the attraction but there is definitely something about the smell of the rusks that is very appealing. When my children were young rusks were considered as a luxury item, can you believe it?! But the odd packet managed to make its way into my shopping trolley. Now when ...
...one rusk in warm milk and the smell is still the very same. So lets take a look at what is in a Farley's rusk to make them so tempting. Farley's have packed their rusks with calcium, iron and added vitamins. Vitamins A, B, C, D and Niacin encourage healthy growth and development and of course the calcium helps to build healthy bones and teeth. The rusks are suitable for babies upwards of 4 months old, eaten mixed with milk as an introduction to solids ...

Heinz Juices

Advantages: Quick and easy when out and about
Disadvantages: * none

I first came across Heinz Pure Apple juice when my daughter first started weaning; she hated cooled boiled water and would only drink milk until I came across this juice I was concerned at first as I did not want her drinking sugary juice, but when reading the bottle it contains 100% juice so we gave it a go. The bottle stated ready to drink but I like to dilute it 1 part water 1 part juice. Heinz juices are 100% Pure fruit Juice which are ready-to-serve ...
...They are fortified with vitamin C, the juices contain only naturally occurring sugars from the fruit itself no added sugars or preservatives. My daughter absolutely loves it so does my partner who likes to have the odd glass or two. This juice is available in most supermarkets and I have also found it in better value shops like Wilkinson’s and Savers, You can buy a 750ml Bottle for around £1.49 - £2.00 One the juice has been opened it needs to be ...

Better than Bourbons for babies

Advantages: Handy, tasty, easy to find
Disadvantages: Pack cannot be resealed

I originally bought the plain Heinz Biscotti and my son really enjoyed them and I was looking for the plain ones in the supermarket but could only find the chocolate flavour. I didn’t really want to buy him chocolate flavoured biscuits as he has a taste for chocolate things and I try to keep it to a minimum. However there were no plain Biscotti and I wanted something so I bought the chocolate variety. The Biscotti come in a foil pack, containing ...
...a dark brown colour with Heinz ingrained in the middle of the biscuit, there is a definite chocolate smell to them, they are quite crunchy and are sweet and chocolatey to taste. I give these to my son as an occasional treat and he would only ever eat 2 at most at a time. The biscuits are a very good shape for little baby hands to hold and they break very easily when they are bitten, even if the child had no teeth the biscuit would eventually break ...
