GAP the shop
The clothes store GAP is widely found across the Uk and America. Its been running since 1969 and has over 3,100 stores. The store I regularly visit is the GAP outlet store in McArther Glen Bridgend. As it's an outlet store, you can pick up some good/excellent bargains. I wouldn't buy from a normal GAP store as they can be a on the pricey side and like most people I love a good find! The outlets are for me! The store is very well presented and is always very neat and tidy. The queues are never a problem and if there is one, you are not waiting for long as the staff are very quick.

The older ages of 1 yr + has a larger variety to choose from including cots and socks. The clothes I have found to be of a really high quality and of a good thickness. I find the size 6-12 months quite a broad range to place on a baby, as they grow quite substantially between those months. So is was quite a surprise when I saw they labeled the sizes this way. They do allot of baby rompers and baby long vested legging sets, which I am a massive fan of, as they are easy to dress the baby up in.
What did I buy?
I bought an all in one romper in two tone stripped pink with GAP written across the chest. The romper goes straight over the head, arms in and then does up via poppers at the bottom. Easy access to the nappy! This was reduced from £12.00 to £8.00 which is still a little costly but I would defiantly buy there again. This washes really well with no shrinkage in the tumble dryer, like I have done to so many of Isabella's clothes in the past. This prolongs the life wear of the item and that alone is value for money! The fact that the age range is so wide might be a bit of a problem. Isabella is 8 months next week and they fit her perfectly now and I'm a bit apprehensive that they won't last till she is 12 months!
Would I buy there again
Defiantly. The staff are helpful on the counter but there aren't many around the shop floor at peak times. The clothes are always neat and tidy and clearly labelled with stickers running down the front to show the sizes. The clothes are of a high quality and if I know they are not going to shrink, then thats a huge bonus from me. The prices are reasonable in the outlet stores. I can't wait till Izzy is 1 year old and I can start buying her the older range including a little GAP hoddie!

Advantages: Very fashionable, excellent value for money. Disadvantages: Full price is too expensive.

...it is reduced and the baby hasn't worn it yet, you can niftily return it and buy it back!!!
As for quality, I am really impressed with the quality of their clothes. They wash time and time again and come out looking brand new.
The one disappointment with them I had though was that their socks tend to 'bobble', but otherwise from that they are the best socks I ever tried as they stay on the baby's feet, and as most parents will know, this is no ... ...but i would say their boy's clothes are a lot better than the girl's wear, which is fine by me as I have a son!!!
Baby Gap is by far my favorite baby clothes shop despite the price of some of the garments and I would unhesistatingly recommend it. ...

I just LOVE baby gap. It is such a wonderful store. The clothes is wonderful the kids looks comfy in them and (big test) they stand washing over and over again. I have a dirt magnet daughter so her clothes goes through a lot, but her Gap clothes is always nice looking and can deal with getting stains on them without getting stuck permanently. My second daughter is now wearing stuff that the oldest wore first and I often get asked where it is from ... ...been in a LOT of baby Gap shops (I cant walk past one without having a look) and I have never once had a complaint about the service. It is always polite and helpful. Even if you are returning items. (like unwanted gifts) they are ever so helpful and nice. And they always check if you need the stuff gift wrapped and do this without extra charge.. Oh and if it is a gift they will make a gift receipt so the person who gets it can take it back but on ...

...a fleece hooded top and baby joggers, both of which were in size 6-12 months. My son has been wearing both items since he was four months old and thanks to sturdy ribs on the sleeves of the top and ankles of the joggers has been able to get away with it without looking swamped. Both items have washed brilliantly and if it wasn't for the price (£20.00 for the top and £10.00 for the joggers) I would probably shop there more often but for clothes with ...

Advantages: Good Name Brand - wash amazingly well Disadvantages: Sweat-shop produced, limited choice, over-priced
I have several GAP items in my 18 month son's wardrobe.
These items always wash well and right up until they go onto the 'grown out of' pile they always look as good as new.
However, recently I watched a television programme about 'Sweat-Shops' in the third world and the main culprit was GAP which uses Indonesian workers to make all of their garments, for adults and children. It has left me with a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. GAP pay PENNIES ... ...the earth for the same items.
I also find the choice is somewhat limited - you can buy a pair of socks in every colour of the rainbow, but are limited to a choice of two or three types of shoe.
I think it is time GAP reviewed their manufacturing process to be more in line with the prices they charge. ...

I must admit I like shopping in Gap stores, I particularly like shopping for my niece, the range of clothes may not be the best, but what I have bought so far, is really good. I bought her stone ash jeans with really nice embroidery at the side of them. Also I purchased a Gap hooded top, both products cost me £40.
That may seem a lot, but the baby looks so nice, and you really can tell they are quality. The reason why I shopped in this store for my niece was that I wanted my niece to have some designer clothes. And as it was her birthday I think it was well worth it.
Since my purchase my sister has been so happy with the Gap clothes, that she has bought her some Gap clothes, she bought a purple summer Gap top with cream jeans. She looks so cute in them, that I can see myself returning in a few weeks to buy some more products.

I do have reservations about buying designer clothes for children, but eh..once in a while. I'm not scrooge but what the point they grow out of them especially toddlers. So, now my niece is 2 I think it's ok.
I too her down to BabyGap shop and she loved the clothes and wanted to buy everything....kids.
Well, I was impressed myself the quality of fabric and range of clothes was impressive.
The price wasn't that bad considering it's a good name. So, I got her coat for £40 and there was a discount of 10% so I got £4 off. I was very pleased and my niece seemed to like her coat. A day well spent.
The shop was well organised, it was spacious and the customer care people were happy to help.
Try BabyGap, quality clothing that you know will last. ...

When I went to the Trafford Centre I absolutely loved the BabyGap show, yes it was expensive but what brilliant quality clothes. It had the cutest baby clothes like baby grows and the cutest toddler clothes.
If you want quality then BabyGap is the best. When my niece was born we used to buy her clothes from the BabyGap shop my mum used to complain and say there's no point because they'll grow out of it. Yes that's true especially with new born, but for toddlers I would recommend the BabyGap shop it's just the best designer shop for kids.
They always have huge discounts on when ever you go, and if they do not have anything in size, they'll more than happily order it for you, they'll take your phone number and ring you when it arrives. And although it was quite a small store, it had four or five customer friendly people ...
