...managed to pick up the Pampers Sunnies on a (fairly) special offer from Boots for 6pounds (yes they are pricey). However the said special offer included a free dispenser box which really did do the job, ie keeping the wipes dry. The idea is basically the same as your regular baby wipes but these sun wipes are drenched in a safe and sound SPF30 sun cream which you basically wipe over your baby's exposed bits (and non exposed if you are not using ...
...last inch. With the Pampers Sunnies it was a bit more hit and miss which is not ideal. However all in all it is such a good idea that I have to believe they are a great innovative product, so handy as there are no sun cream leakages in your best beach bag, nor cross babies as you accidentally smear another bit of cream in thier eye! ...

nivea sun childrens lotion.....fantastic

Advantages: full protection
Disadvantages: havnt found any so far

...months. i decided to use nivea sun cream as i use nivea moisturising cream myself and have done for years. i went to buy the sun lotion and discovered they do creams especially for children. now, i can really only rate the lotion with spf 50+ as this is the only one i have used (appart from a very brief try of the spray lotion which i personally didnt like) my children were out swimming in peak summer months, at peak times and never once even coloured. ...
...be too safe. they could play in sunshine all day and after using this cream for only a short period of time i realised it is excellent and now it is the only sun cream i will use on my kids who also have sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to this cream. it is very easy to apply, doest take long either so kids dont get boerd. can be quite expensive but for great peace of mind, well worth it. keep and eye out for offers, iv just recently ...

For big babies too!

Advantages: Gives you great smelling soft skin at a good price.
Disadvantages: Don't be put off by it being a 'baby' lotion

I was looking for a cheap and cheerful body moisturiser to take away on holiday with me. As I have sensitive skin I occasionally look at the baby moisturisers for inspiration as they are usually dermatologicaly tested and great for dry skin. I have used Johnson's baby lotions before but wanted to try something different and a bit less greasy than the Johnson's Baby Oil 'old faithful'. It was the packaging that first caught my eye, a nice light green ...
...The price was around £2.60 and I thought this was quite reasonable. On the bottle it states 'Relieves dry skin from the fist use' and it contains Olive Leaf extract and vitamin E. The moisturiser itself is white, (assuming there are no colours added) and is of a nice gloopy constancy (not watery). The lotion slides onto skin easily and is quickly absorbed. It is noticeable that it doesn't leave skin greasy at all and that it disappears into the skin ...

Advantages: easy absorbed, imediate protection, and easy to use
Disadvantages: none

working in a nursery i see lots of different products come through the doors and personally i feel that this product is one of the best on the market along with many other people with in the nursery. the cream comes in various factors ranging from 30 to 50+ and is very easy to rub in and absorbs into the skin quickly no more walking round like white ghosts! or feeling all greasy and sticky. the creams are all water resistant so great for all those ...
...or just getting wet the cream has a plaesent smell which reminds every one who come into contact with it of summers the cream also allows the children to go staight into the sun which many others dont so no having to cream and then entertain for half an hour while the cream soaks in which im sure most of you will agree is a hard thing to do when they want to get outside and play the cream offers the highest posible potection for your children ...

Nivea sun cream

Advantages: Quickly absorbed, fragrance free
Disadvantages: Badly affected daughters eyes

Last year we took our 18 mth old daughter to Florida on holiday, knowing that it was most likely going to be very hot I wanted to make sure that i picked a cream with the highest SPF possible (this one is 50+), and one suitable for sensitive skin (again which this one is) due to it being fragrance and colourant free.
