Easily portable pain relief

Advantages: Homeopathic, can be used daily without worry!
Disadvantages: Getting it in the mouth takes some getting used to

...with you. I've found that Nelsons and Boots own Teether powder are exactly the same product (both made by Nelsons) and the same price, so I don't really see the point of Boots bothering. The cheapest place I have found these is Bodycare shops where they are £2.99 for 24 which is a lot cheaper than boots (£4.40). ...

Review of Weleda Chamomilla 3x Granules

Sooth in the dark.

Advantages: Glow in the dark makes them easy to find at night
Disadvantages: Baby could become dependant

...night time use is the Avent Night-time soother. The soothers come in 3 age ranges and their style depends on the age you require, they are most often presented in clear plastic boxes containing 2 soothers. 0-3 months comes with a small teat perfect for younger mouths, a shaped shield to be comfortable under babies nose and a moveable handle so you can pick it up, put it in babies mouth etc with ease… they come in white and lemon colouring so are ...
...stomach at night, and these Avent Night-time soothers were perfect, the glow in the dark handle & pattern make it easy to find in the darkness which is great because there's nothing more frustrating then baby waking up because they've spat out their soother and you have to fumble around for ages trying to find it. We found that Christopher never really needed to go past the 3-6 month stage soother because his colic quickly settled and he began sleeping ...

Review of Avent Night Time Soother

Relief for the sleep deprived!

Advantages: Aids sleep, reduces risk of cot death
Disadvantages: Not recommended until breastfeeding established in breast fed babies

...We had been given two Avent soothers free with our kit of steriliser, breast pump etc. My partner convinced me to give it a go - I was cynical however. If the baby couldn't sleep for longer than ten minutes at a time, what was a dummy going to do? It wasn't magic was it? Oh what a naive fool I was! With dummy inserted Mia promptly fell into a more peaceful slumber that lasted at least a couple of hours, and Avent soothers had won our hearts! In ...
...dummy whatsoever, or teat for that matter. I promptly set out to buy more, we now have a veritable range of colours for our little one. (it is recommended to change soothers after three months, always check teat for damage before giving to baby, especially when teeth appear). I prefer the freeflow ones pictured above, because they are in pleasant colours, with a translucent outer part, which means the babies face isn't as obstructed from view. These ...

Sooth your baby and your head with these!

Advantages: clear plastic and last a long time
Disadvantages: Sometimes you can find them

...free when I bought my Avent microwave steriliser so I'm not sure how much they cost. I have seen them at a glance in Boots and Mothercare and I'm pretty sure they are widely available. The best thing about these dummies (apart from the fact that it gives my boob some breathing space) is that they are not brightly coloured. They are see through plastic which makes the dummy quite discreet on your baby's face. Like I said I find nothing worse than ...
...newborns face. This is an added bonus when you have a toddler running around the place wanting to play with a dummy. My little boy doesn't notice it when it's in the bouncy chair or by the side of his brothers Moses basket. I'm sure he would be putting it in his mouth all the time if it were a brighter colour. I have to say that sometimes I can't actually find it because it's blended in with the carpet which can be a pain when you need it quickly. ...
