Kando or Kannot do
Review of Kandoo Baby Wipes by
coffeepot1
Advantages: Easy for child to pull out and use
Disadvantages: Not as biodegradeable as stated
...coupons in the mail for Kandoo wipes. The cost of these wipes are around £2.80 to £3.00 in most stores (Boots, Tesco, Sainsburys) and I had received two £1 vouchers so I thought I would give them a go at a bargain price (we all like a bargain don't we?).
My daughter was thrilled that I had bought the "Froggie Paper" from the shops that was regularly advertised on the television and that alone encouraged her to use the loo regularly like a big girl.
... ...blocked. I stopped buying Kandoo Wipes and I had no further problems with my drains.
A few months on there was a report on a national television programme regarding Kandoo Wipes and how a certain persons drains were blocked because of them so I clearly was not the only one with this problem. ...

spot the dog
Review of Pampers Baby Wipes by
amy88
Advantages: they smell nice
Disadvantages: use these on your face you wont be able to leave the house for a week
I have now been using pampers wipes for 2 month. I bought them because they claim to be good on sensitive skin. After using this product on my10 month old son he recieved a severe nappy rash that actually bled I discontinued use and the nappy rash went in 1 week. I then decided to use the remainder of the wipes to cleanse my face . . . .Big mistike my face began to look like my sons bottom had a few weeks before that. I came out in spots and my skin ... ...write a complaint to the company as for this to happen to both me and my son was no coincidence. My reply was to go and see my GP and there are lots of things that can cause a rash. I found this disgusting and won't be using pampers again. ...

Johnsons - my saviour!
Review of Johnsons Baby Wipes by
karalouk
Advantages: Prevent nappy rash, clean up well, soft
Disadvantages: None
I have been using Johnsons sensitive wipes on my baby since she was born and she is now almost 4 months old.
Because they are so soft and contain olea vera her skin has never been irritated by them and she has never had nappy rash.
The sheets are very moist, but not overly moist that you just end up making a big mess! You can also use them on other parts, such as sticky hands and face. You can even use them for cleaning up feeding trays, changing ... ...they smell GREAT!
They clean up everything I need them to really well and you don't need to use a hundred sheets to get the job done - result!
They are well packaged so you can take them on your travels and they're also suitable for use on adults - make up removal, dirty hands, etc.
There are usually offers on them too (Eg. BOGOF) which is really helpful as it's not cheap being a mum.
They're easily dispensed and don't even dry out in the pack ...

couldn't live without them
Review of Asda Baby Wipes by
suzybabe1
Advantages: Cheap, good quality, many uses and dont dry out.
Disadvantages: Absolutely none
...generally more expensive than the asda ones so now i only buy the asda ones. They are always cheap and at the minute work out at £1 per 80 pack of wipes. They are thick soft and have plenty of moisture to them. I always buy the fragrance free ones as i use them on my little ones hand and face as well. They have the plastic flip opening on them rather than those stupid sticky things that peel off once then never reseal again. This is great as i have ...

Huggies wipes - a no go!
Review of Huggies Pure Baby Wipes by
karalouk
Advantages: Moist, soft
Disadvantages: Can't handle force, more expensive than other brands
...purchased my first pack of Huggies Pure Wipes in Boots on a buy one get one free offer. The three main reasons I hadn’t tried Huggies wipes before were: - Hugggies are generally more expensive than most brands
- Huggies don’t usually do as many good deals as other brands
- I was happy enough with my usual brands
Now it was my time to give them a try!
The wipes themselves looked thicker and more fabric-like than most wipes and had teddies embossed ... ...absolutely loads of wipes.
Huggies just didn’t do the job for me but they never once left my baby with any kind of nappy rash, so I can’t fault them on that (plus they do fabulous nappies…but that’s another story!).
AVAILABILITY
I brought my wipes in Boots but Huggies are available in all good supermarkets and chemists such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Somerfield, Morrisons and Lloyds.
PACKAGING
Huggies Pure Wipes come in a strong, plastic, rectangular, ...
