Advantages Very sturdy and not easy to scratch or damage.

Disadvantages Slippery surfaces and uncomfortable.

I bought this Babydan Highchair for my 2 year old who was ready to move out of a highchair. We had changed highchairs regularly since she was born and I was looking for something that would last a long time. This highchair is transformable and can be used from when baby can first sit upright up until adult. The seat and footrest can both be easily moved on different levels to suit the individual person.
I found the assembly of the chair very easy. It uses an allen key to put the screws in. It took me around 20 minutes to assemble.
It is very, very sturdy, and in a year has taken my toddler jumping and climbing all over it and doesn't even have a scratch, despite being used as a chair for everything including eating, painting and crafts etc. This is a real plus side to the highchair as it looks as new as when it was bought.

My 2 year old doesn't like using it though. The finish is very slippery so even when she's sitting she will slip off it very easily. The slippery finish also makes it difficult to clean. Whilst it's easy to wipe of dirt, the water separates on it and takes wiping over several times to get grubby bits off and to look clean. Another thing that I found annoying is the feet of the chair stick quite far out, and as I have little space in my kitchen, it is easy to walk past the chair and trip on the feet. This may not be a problem if the back of the chair is facing a wall or somewhere that is walked past.

My 9 year old has taken a like to it though, although I wouldn't have bought it for this use as we have plenty of suitable chairs for her. I tried it with the baby attachment, which is, again very easy to attach, although you have to disassemble a small part of the chair if you have already assembled the chair without the baby attachment. I put my 8 month old it in (which she was at the time). Again the slippery surface made her slide down, although she was safe in the chair she wasn't comfortable.

I paid £54.99 for this product. I would have been happy with the price if it had served it's purpose that I had bought it for. However it has just spared up a chair in the house and I'm still to find a good chair for my 2 year old. So not worth the price in my opinion.
