Advantages: Large and sturdy Disadvantages: Wipe clean only
...ABOUT PRODUCT
Mamas and Papas have three rocking cradles in their range.
Firstly is the DONDOLINO which is the cradle I bought. The baby can rock the cradle herself simply by kicking her legs or there are two ‘feet’ on the front of the frame which you simply flick down so that the cradle cannot be rocked, handy if you are trying to feed the baby in the chair or if you have got older children who are prone to walking past and giving it a quick shove whilst the baby is asleep!! The dondolino also has carry handles (although you should never use these to carry the seat whilst the baby is in it). It folds flat for easy storage and has a detachable head hugger.
Secondly is the SERENO which a gentle bouncing chair rather than a rocker. It has a three position back rest and detachable head hugger.
Lastly is the MELINO which is battery operated...

Advantages: entertainemnt for baby Disadvantages: I'm not keen on the colour
...with a teddy bear on it. One of the little downsides with this is the colour, in my opinion is a little bland, I’m not a big fan of beige. The baby is placed in the chair in a semi reclining position and strapped into a harness that goes between the legs and has to clips on wither side.
There is an arch that goes across the body of the cradle. This has three little beige teddies attached to it, so that when the baby is sitting in the cradle they can see the teddies and reach up to them. We often attach toys from Scarlett’s playmat on to it for some variety.
You can put the cradle on vibrate or bounce. To state the obvious vibrate is a vibrating motion which used to startle Scarlet a bit when she was very little, it may be a bit too much for sensitive or very young babies. The bounce setting is a bit gentler. There is a large knob on the front...

Advantages: Great for more than one baby Disadvantages: A bit expensive
...After finding out I was having twins and starting to buy things the reality of how expensive my 2 bundles of joy would be sank in. Double pram, 2 car seats, 2 of everything not to mention the fact I was having a boy and a girl so I had to buy pink and blue clothes too!
When they started to become active I looked everywhere for a twin playpen but to no avail. Then I spotted the Babydan Babyden in a catalogue and going by the sizes when it was in playpen form I knew it would be big enough.
The twins had great fun rolling around in it and also learned to pull themselves up on the bars. Now they are 14 months old and walking everywhere I have attached it to the walls and have got it as a room divide. They have their own little room now within our living room away from the temptation of plugs, tv's, fires etc.
I thought they would cry...
