I own GHDS and I love the fact that they not only give a poker straight look but also they create very glamorous curls, My friend came to my house the other week and she had just purchased the Babyliss pro porcelain revel conical wand curlingtongs and she had done her hair that morning with them, her hair looked so amazing, the best I?ve seen it in years, I love the curls that ghd give don?t get me wrong but these tongs give a more bouncer curl and soon as I saw her hair I fell in love with the tongs, she told me I could try them out the next day, so the next day I went to her house and Tried them on my hair, and I loved them, I also curled my hair extensions with them and they looked fabulous.

I bought the Babyliss You Curl as a friend recommended them..
I have medium length hair thats quite thick, i seperated all my hair and curled sections as instructed in the booklet that came with the tongs. You have to curl your hair in a certain way for it to work otherwise it just straightens but once you get used to it, it becomes a lot quicker and easier to do. I sprayed each section with hairspray before and after i used the tongs to help the curls stay in.
However after an hour of curling my hair the first section underneath had dropped out maybe i needed more hairspray so i re did the sections underneath.
They are good value for money as i paid £39 and they create modern curls. They are fairly easy to use with 3 different heat settings and an on and off button once you get the hang of it. ...

I bought this product because it seemed like a fast, easy way to make my hair curly as I have straight hair. I didn't realise at the time that it could also be used to straighten.
It takes a few tries to master this curler, but once you do - you're left with beautiful bouncy curls. You can change how much hair you curl at the one time, the more you curl - the less curly it will be and more wavey. So you can have different effects with this product.
My hair is mid-length so when it's properly curled, it looks quite short and I don't really like it. Someone else wrote a review on this saying that your hair looks too curly and I agree. But maybe there's a different way to curl it to make it look better.
There's supposedly a video on the babyliss website showing you how to do it, so that could be worth a wee look ...
