Advantages heats quick, affordable, cordless, alternative to ghd
Disadvantages none
I first bought this babyliss straightener from boots, they had it on half price. It was a gift for my sister in law abroad, when I was on holiday i used it for the first time and thought it was brilliant, just like a ghd i thought! so i went and bought myself one.
The straightener came in a big black box and it had the round stand which charges the straightener if you go cordless. The straightener is quite long so has 25% longer plates, great for longer or thicker hair anf if you want to straighten in no time. The plates are thermo-ceramic they distribute heat evenly and are kinder to hair by reducing static. There is a heat setting which you can turn to desired temperature max 220 degrees. The outer part where you hold the straighteners has some black foam for firm grip. There is also an indicator which flashes from red to green when charging on the base. this can be used mains or cordless, i like to use it cordless especially when the socket is far away. I think the straightener delivers amazing results, it really staightened out my wavy frizzy hair in one go, i would advise to take smaller sections of hair through to get best results. I would reccomend it to those with wavy/frizzy hair, i truly was not dissapointed with this buy and it was not as pricey as a ghd but i beleive it pretty much did same job, which is to straighten hair. Great alternative to ghd.
