I own GHDS and I love the fact that they not only give a poker straight look but also they create very glamorous curls, My friend came to my house the other week and she had just purchased the Babyliss pro porcelain revel conical wand curling tongs and she had done her hair that morning with them, her hair looked so amazing, the best I?ve seen it in years, I love the curls that ghd give don?t get me wrong but these tongs give a more bouncer curl and soon as I saw her hair I fell in love with the tongs, she told me I could try them out the next day, so the next day I went to her house and Tried them on my hair, and I loved them, I also curled my hair extensions with them and they looked fabulous. . Babyliss Pro Spirall - Effective & excellent!!

Advantages: Heats up quickly, looks nice, effective, many heat settings
Disadvantages: Fiddly at first as the spiral guides are close together.

My old hair curler recently broke so I had to get a replacement, and frankly, it was a few years old and needed replacing anyway. It took me quite a while to decide which hair curler to get, but I eventually opted for the Babyliss Adee&Paul Pro Spirall 2291AU. I purchased the curler from eBay for just less that £9; however, you can buy it from amazon.co.uk for about £26.43 so I was quite pleased that I had already saved quite a lot. Review of BaByliss 2291AU PRO

BaByliss Straightners...Great value for money

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: None

I have used Babyliss before and was satisfied. I can't afford the market leaders but to be honest I doubt they are any better than Babyliss. I have found Babyliss hair straighteners reliable and affordable, thats why I have chosen them again. They look good and are easy to use and do what they are supposed to do. They could possibly do with coming with a heatproof travel type pouch as I take them to use at the gym. My hair does straighten quite easy, but it is wavy, friends have often commented on how quick and easy it is to straighten my hair...maybe that is becase of the straigtening irons that I use. I would suggest anyone looking for a less expensive alternative to give Babyliss hair straigteners a try, I am sure they wouldn't be disappionted and would still have a few extra pounds in their pocket too! ...
