Babyliss Pro Professional Dial-a-Heat Ceramic Hair Curling Tong

...My long, thick hair has always been naturally curly in tight curls however I wanted my hair to be wavy / with loose tousled curls. After straightening my hair then using my friends Babyliss curling tongs to create the effect I was that impressed that I went out to buy my own tongs. These Nicky Clarke ones were retailing at £15.00 but were on offer at £9.00. I thought this represented excellent value for wide barrelled (38mm), ceramic coated tongs, from a well known / respected brand. I couldn't have been more wrong! These tongs did nothing - except create a kink in my hair where it clamps on to the barrel. ...Brilliant! These tongs gave amazing results on my long, thick hair; and left it in great condition. There was not the smell of hot burning hair I have had with other makes. The 25mm barrell allows you to create loose curls for a tousled natural look or tighter curls if want. I have been using Lee Stafford P2Fifty heat defence spray but needed no other styling product, though i do finish off with Frizz Ease moisture defence hairspray. They were easy to use and the instructions detailed how to use to style. Lightweight, digital variable heat settings, ultra fast heat up, ceramic and tourmaline coated, long swivel cable; these tongs have all the latest technology and look attractive too in a gun-metal grey. ...I’m here to tell you all about a straighter that I wouldn’t hesitate calling the best I have ever used. I have sort of wavy/curly hair that loves to frizz if it’s too hot, too sweaty, if it’s raining or even if there is a bit of moisture in the hair. Hours spent in front of the mirror with hairdryers/ straigtners and tongs are ruined with a minute drizzle so when I first discovered Babyliss I was over the moon, they straighten my hair and leave it shiny. If I managed to stay out of the rain or not be in a hot environment my hair would remain fairly straight BUT NOW I have discovered GHD ceramic irons and what a Godsend they are. £85 sounds pricey, well it is pricey, but if you want hair poker straight and able to withstand a fair amount of heat/sweat/rain do not hesitate to purchase these amazing tongs.
