Babyliss Pro The Straightener 230 Degree Tourmaline Ionic Digital Screen

...I've owned these straightners for approx 6 months and i couldnt live with out them! I have a lot of hair and quite wavy and they are fab for making your hair look fine silky and pin straight. They heat up in approx 2 mins to there full temp of 230 but you can range the temp for 180 right up to 230 and it shows on a digital screen on the top of the straightners they also have a salon style lenght wire so no moving your mirror to the nearest plug socket! These straightners run so smootn across the hair as you can find with some straightners that they tend to pull the hair. Advantages: Reckoned by many to be better than GHD's, are cheaper and more reliable (longer warrantee)

...a 'salon' swivel cord (3m). The corded model has 1 1/4" plates, whilst the cordless model has the slightly bigger 1 1/2" plates. "Both models have an on indicator light and a heat ready indicator light. They both have a 10 stage temperature dial and cool touch comfort fabric." Finally, there are some even newer straighteners called the BaByliss Pro 230 Elegance Bronze Straightener. This seems pretty much the same except it has ionic technology and apparently "Hair has a natural tendency to develop positive electrical charges. This tendency is amplified by the relative movement of the hair: dry frictions generate static electricity and positive ions. Ionic straighteners produce negative ions. These cancel out the positive ions and static electricity. Without static electricity the hair is more manageable and can be easily styled... Read review

...for the best - and when i got half way through i looked in the mirror and i was poker straight. So i can actually confirm that they are just as good if not better then GHD - Yes i know - nothing is better then GHD but these are brilliant, i will post a pik of me before and after to prove it lol :) They came with a heat mat where you can place your straightners and not burn anything aswell as clips to seperate your hair. it has different temperatures for your own conveinence and are small and easy to store. They heat up to the max within 30 seconds which is brilliant, not as fast as GHDs 8 seconds BUT still very good.
