Simply SmoothWaxing System seems like the perfect solution to those of us who prefer waxing over other hair removal methods. The hard wax goes onto the skin and is then heated up with the supplied heater unit. No gloopy and messy wax dripping all over your floor and no faux pas when it comes to burning yourself with overheated wax. Sounds amazing - why didn't anybody invent this before, right?!
WRONG!
I followed the instructions with precision, used the wipes to clean my legs of any products and allowed the heater unit to heat up whilst I sat looking at the strips and thinking about what an amazing idea this was. I have spent years fighting with different hair removal products and am yet to find one which does the job properly.

This product is incredibly well advertised! You see it everywhere! But does it actually work?!
Waxing removes hair by sticking to the hairs and them ripping them out from the root. Sometimes this will damage the root and the hair will not grow back again but usually it will just take longer for the hair to grown back than shaving. I found it lasts about a week. The hair does grow back finer each time you use the product.
The product contains 20 wax strips and 2 residue removal wipes.
Pros:
* Pulls hair out from the root so it takes longer to grow back.
* Cheap - About £5
* Lots of stockists - You'll be able to find it in most cosmetic stores.
* Works on short hairs
* Leaves legssmooth and hair free without cuts!
Cons:
* Can be messy
* Can be painful
I would advise cutting each strip into 3 or 4 smaller strips ...
Advantages: Easy to use and effective Disadvantages: A little pricey if you use them all the time, need more finishing wipes!

The strips are not suitable for use on your face but you can use them on your legs, arm, underarms and bikini line. You can also get smaller strips for use on your bikini line too, but you have to buy these in a separate pack.
I really like these and use them if I am going on holiday or for special occasion, but other than that I stick to shaving, purely because it is cheaper and quicker than using these!
The wax strips costs £5.79 for a pack of 20 from Boots (but they are on special offer right now for £4.34) I think I paid around £9 for my value pack of 40. I have seen them in Tesco and Superdrug too, at around the same price.
