Advantages Great for american punk lovers
Disadvantages it rarely slows down
OK Well i saw Bad Religion there with reviews of a couple of albums and i thought i would give a brieg overview.
First of, Bad Religion are an American Punk Rock Band. They generally get put into similar catagories as The Offspring, Greenday, Blink 182 etc. It should be noted that Bad Religion are the grand daddys of punk rock and have been around for some time.So if your reading this far your either going to have a go at me for something, or you are interested in the band. Lets hope its the latter.
Bad religion have been around for ages. THe produce an album every year or two and its dificult to say the albums get better, because they are all excellent. Generally the music is fast paced and catchy punk music. Something we can all get down and rock out to.Having seen them live a number of times, they also come into my top 3 bands to see live.
There are far too many songs to go over individualy, but i will concentrate on the songs that can be found on the Punk Rock Songs-The Epic Years album, which is a kind of greatest hits album. Not in order - but here is a brief account of some of the songs on this album
I Love My Computer - One of the slower songs for Bad Religion, this song is actually quite infectious. It talks about the bands love for computers and the internet, and why they are perhaps better than girls ;). With some weird computerised sort of sounds input into the nice rythmic guitar pieces, this song is a smooth piece of work.Punk Rock Song - This song is fast, its catchy and its pretty much an anthem for Bad Religion. I gurantee you will be singing along with this one after a while. Basically they are trying to say this is jsut a punk rock song, not anything else. Man the lead singer can sing fast!
Streets Of America - One of my favourite bad religion songs. Very melodic (im listening to it now) with some extremely catchy tunes in a good way, not an anoying way. Basically talking about the streets of america and what its like today.
Sparkled promises paved with pathos and husteria.
Thats just a few of the hundreds of songs this band have released. They are less about "oh this girl i met she causes me troubles blah blah blah" and more about real life and the state of the world today, but not to the extreme extent of RATM.

Well i mainly wrote this for two reasons - one cos i was tired, and two cos this band is fucking excellent. If you have gotten this far, then i urge you to get out and buy one of their cds ASAP.
RATM = Rage Against The Machine - Thanks Alboy

Glad to see you are still writing - this is not a band I had heard of before:) It may be an idea to put in a little about the members of the band and where and for how much their CDs can be bought for :) xx E.
bad religion rock! i only know a few of their songs, my fave being "los angeles is burning", but ive always wanted to check out more of their stuff, so i think i'll get the greatest hits album u mentioned in ur review (id never heard of that album before, so thank you!). good review!
