THE PRODUCT
Tesco Medicated lip balm is part of the Tesco own brand range. Tesco also offer a standard lip balm for normal lips.
The medicated lip balm offers protection against the sun, wind, cold, and even offers SPF15 protection.
It is also designed to soothe and care for sore, chapped lips.
The lip balm comes in a 4g plastic tube (similar to other chap sticks) which is white and has a screw top lid.
The lip balm its self is white in colour and smells similar to tea tree oil although not as strong. The lip balm is extremely easy to apply and can be applied directly from the stick to the lips.
After application I found my lips had a tingling sensation, this only lasted for around five minutes and soon wore off. The lip balm seemed to absorb into my lips quite quickly. This is good as I have a habit...

Advantages: Calms skin after shaving Disadvantages: None for me
...When I was young I always wanted to shave because it was all grown up, like my dad did with his badger bristle shaving brush, soap bowl and trusty Wilkinson sword double edge razor, the whole ritual amazed me. But like a lot of things I looked forward to doing when I was growing up the reality was not as good the expectation and the novelty soon wore off.
Shaving for me is a despised chore these days especially as I have sensitive skin on my face and also shave my head. At the mere sight of a razor my cheeks glow red and burn.
I am left with the choice to grow a moustache and beard (I tried that and didn’t like it; I felt compelled to lick my moustache all the time and got very strange looks when I was out) or find products that work for me or at least work best for me.
After trying every shaving accessory under the sun I now have...

The Product
The product states that it "makes a great lip balm, and can be used to refresh dry skin anywhere on the body. We hear they are superb for achieving the after-leg shaving effect known as Badger Smooth Legs."
I can't say whether or not the badger smooth leg effect is something to get ecstatic about or not, as I haven't actually tried this and the balm has stayed well and truly on my lips. As for the great lip balm...i'm not so sure. It doesn't really seem to have moisturised my lips all that much - vaseline seems to do a better job, and doesn't really stay on for that long, after about 5 minutes it seems to have gone completely. However, it's not at all greasy...

This product is such a recommendation from me.

I've decided to do this review in the form of a diary which is a bit different for me but I'll give it a go and I'm sure you'll all leave me nasty comments if it hasn't worked very well or nice ones if you enjoy it.

Background:
Since childhood I have always had very sensitive skin - to the extent that even now I still can't wear pure wool directly against it or I'll quickly come out in a ghastly red rash which itches like hell. It really is a pain as it does... more
My neighbours son is a typical teenager therefore I am kept awake until gone midnight on some occasions listening to screeching cars in computer games, American accents from late-night cheesy soaps, screams of chainsaw victims or him saying "Huh?" or... more
A few months back I thought I had a serious vitamin deficiency; my lips were severely chapped and the corners of my mouth were very red and sore and starting to crack - I was too scared to smile incase my face split open. I then realised that the change more
I really like this product and, although it's not the best on the market, I still have many uses for it. For example, sometimes I use this simply as a balm in an attempt to heal chapped and/or dry lips, whilst other times I will use it as a primer for... more
