Badger Sleep Balm

I liked the idea of using this pretty little tin of sleep balm. I often have trouble in getting off to sleep as my mind wanders and I was looking for something nice and natural as I didn’t want to have to be prescribed sleeping tablets again from the Doctor. I used this on the advice of a dear friend from Church. It did work, I think, but not all that well.

I liked the tin because it has a lovely picture of a badger on the front. The balms has got ginger, which I love the smell of, lavender and rosemary and altogether they do smell lovely and very pleasant indeed.

I used this balm under my chin, on my neck and on my pulse points like at the sides of my ears and my wrists. I didn’t use too much the first time I used it but I used more the second and third nights and I found them more strong it was, the better it worked for me. The smell was lovely and relaxing and helped me to nod off quickly after I had put the light off and put my book to one side.

The balms is quite thick and hard and I have to keep putting my finger over it in the tin before some of it comes out onto my fingers so I can rub this into my skin. It’s not like the consistency of Vaseline, like I was expecting, it is much more hard and solid than that.

The balm only cost me £3.99 and it has got 21g in the little tin and it lasted me quite a long time even though I used it every night until it had all gone.

This is a lovely balm and I do think if you suffer from the off sleepless night like I do then this is worth trying because it is a lovely smell if nothing else.
