...there .. have you tried BADOIT ..?
According to the label on the bottle, “BADOIT is one of the few natural mineral waters in the world to be naturally sparkling”. Actually, its the ONLY one I’ve found so far. Unlike Perrier, it has not been artificially carbonated so you don’t get a nose full of bubbles and the unfortunate side effect usually associated with carbonated drinks.
I vaguely remember swigging out of a bottle of this in France many years ... ...green one litre bottle with BADOIT written across it in white letters. It may be available in smaller bottles but right now I’m topping up from a litre sized bottle (which is nearly all gone .!) .. and so far, I’ve not seen any smaller sizes. If someone does find them, please let me know ‘cause I wouldn’t mind having a mini supply of these in the fridge.

best water ever, but Tesco no longer sells this and I do not know where to purchase?
If any one know where else I can purchase I would be very happy.

Advantages: Better priced than the well-advertised market leaders like Perrier. Disadvantages: Too much fizz - difficult to open without causing a small explosive shower.
...I have just bought a 1.5l bottle of Highland Spring Carbonated Mineral Water from Safeways at a special offer price of 59p. I also bought a 2 litre Safeways Glencairn Scottish Carbonated Natural Mineral Water for the same price, but not on special offer.
They are both very gassy and have simnilar analysis ingredients. I am no chemist but give or take a gram or three they are the same. They both taste the same to me and are equally highly fizzy.
I like sparkling water, but drink the French Badoit, (Pronounced Badwa) which is what I would describe as mildy aerated and very pleasant to drink on its own if you like that sort of thing. One litre costs 84p in Safeways and 79p in Sainsburys. It is a complete rip off. I live close to the Channel Ports and regularly come back from France with a couple of hundred bottles of the stuff which cost...

...get if you drink 3/4's of the bottle.
many of those dont mean a thing to me either!
But all of us need Calcium on our diets and thats a good way to get it.
Bicarbonates, which i have recently learnt about, are very good for the diggestion.
Waters' like Badoit (pronounced Bad-waaa!) also from france, is very high in Bicarbonates and in france is 'the' water to drink with every meal. they even have it with breakfast!
I also believe that Silica is good for the nerves, but dont quote me on that!!
All in all, i highly recommend Volvic water.
it comes in many convenient sized bottles so theres no excuse for not having some near you at some point in the day....

...properties and beneficial effects.
In fact choosing your water will depend on your age your health state but also what you expect from this water.
Some of those mineral waters have indeed beneficial effect thanks to the mineral they contain.
Some water like contrex have a high concentration in mineral elements so this kind of water is particularly recommended in case of a strict diet. It will allow you to keep the electrolite balance of your body.
But if you are really thirsty, a water full of bicarbonate like badoit would be great.
For a daily use the better is to drink a water containing a low mineral concentration the ideal water would indeed have the same composition than the plasma but it would be quite salty.
However waters like Evian, Volvic or Vittel are great for a daily use.
Evian composition for example is :
Calcium 78mg...
