Advantages: Deliciously creamy, totally yummy, festive and fun. Disadvantages: Hugely fattening and sickly if you drink too much.

If you have never tried Baileys then I hope I can tempt your senses. Baileys is akin to the insides as wearing satin skimpies (knicks, nighties, satin lined skirts) or frolicking about on satin sheets. If you've never worn satin and can't afford the sheets, then ... ...my mottto!

Baileys is akin to the insides as wearing satin skimpies (knicks, nighties, satin lined skirts) or frolicking about on satin sheets. If you've never worn satin and can't afford the sheets, then just try some Foamburst in the shower instead (Imperial Leather shower gel ->foam). Love satin, love Baileys, that's my mottto!

Baileys Is.... a blend of cream and whiskey and contains no preservatives or additives. The fact that it is extremely fattening might put some off, but then this is not the sort of drink you consume by the pint (unless you are Tommy, Charlie Dimmock's sidekick, who I heard has a fetish for the stuff). If you need to know, per 37g serving (as if youre going to be so precise...!!) Baileys contains:
Because Baileys contains cream, it should be stored correctly, away from direct sunlight and below 35 degrees C. If you have constant room in your fridge (fat chance in our house), Baileys recommend that you keep your bottle refrigerated. Apparently if the bottle is subject to lots of temperature changes your Baileys will go lumpy. Satin and lumpy...no no no. However Baileys does keep for 2 years, once opened you should drink up within 6 months.
Baileys Bottles... The bottle of Baileys is a distinct shape, bulbous at the bottom and made of dark brown glass. The label is brown, buff and green. The liquid is aptly buff coloured (see below for my reasoning). It come in a variety of bottles including miniature, 70cl and 1 litre. There are also a good variety of gift boxed sets around at Christmas time which include extras such as Baileys glasses or light up ice cubes. It sells for around £10-£18 for the 70cl / 1 litre bottles.
Baileys on Ice. The best way to drink Baileys is on the rocks but it is also great blended with ice cubes as a crushed ice drink. It's lovely without ice as well. There are a huge variety of cocktails and tall drinks that can be made with Baileys and if you fancy trying a few, look no further than www.baileys.com
Baileys for Me... What words spring to mind when you think of Baileys?Screaming orgasm perhaps if you're a cocktail connoisseur or maybe the snoggy television ad for the drink where a guy kisses someone in the dark..the lights come on and a guy and a girl are both drinking Baileys...mysterious.
For me, Baileys means satin, creamy, silky, sexy, sophisticated, girly, Christmassy and last but by no means least, bathtime.
Baileys is Sexy I've liked Baileys for as long as I can remember but in recent years Baileys has become known as a sexy drink attributable I think not to the snoggy TV ad but to the Sex In the City sponsorship. Remember that? Fountains and lava flows of Baileys all over the screen before the show? I can't help thinking someone had a lot of fun making that.
Anyway, Baileys is a sexy drink. I know this from chatting to some friends at a party. We were discussing and tasting the whiskey my friend Johnny was drinking. I said I didnt like the taste much but I did like Baileys. Whilst another friend went to the bar to buy me one, I happened to mention to Johnny that I drank mine in the bath. He looked surprised, amazed and grinned a reply 'Susie, that's a fantastic confession'. I was amused, Johnny is the icon of style. Also perplexed, I wondered to myself, surely everyone drinks theirs in the bath too...?
Baileys for Girls I can't help thinking that Baileys is a girly drink. Sorry lads. Baileys are obviously aware of this and are trying hard to reverse this with their new TV ad featuring a guy called Lewis who is having trouble with his ice balls. He resorts to pouring Baileys into the ice bucket and drinking from it with the aid of a straw. Giggling girls watch on.
A Taste of Christmas Festive season, festive Baileys. It's a perfect drink for a cold winters night and being satin smooth with a fiery kick, it slips down your throat really too easily. It doesn't taste at all like neat whisky but it does taste creamy and hot as you swallow it. Taste and see for yourself. Yum!!
Baileys for Bathtime This is the perfect relaxation. A glass of Baileys in a bath of bubbles. A glass of Baileys in the buff (well it is buff coloured)! You just can't beat it ....
...but then on second thoughts perhaps you can. Baileys is satin for the insides, perhaps bathing IN Baileys would be even better. If I ever strike it rich, I'll try it and let you know...watch out for a review called Bathe me in Baileys!
Advantages: Very Versatile Disadvantages: The number of evil calories
...The greatest thing about Baileys is that once it has been opened, if it is stored correctly i.e. not in direct sunlight because the cream will curdle, it will last for 24 months, so there is no need to drink your way through a whole bottle the second it is open. Bailey’s is a lovely thick texture and is very chocolaty in colour, renowned as a ‘girlie’ drink by my male friends; I can assure you they love it just as much as I do. ... ...later, but for now…
Baileys is very versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. Cocktails are one example. Baileys is used in various drinks, for example:
(1) B52 – A shot guaranteed to get you drunk rather quickly if you drink lots of them. It contains 1 shot of Grand Marnier, one shot of Bailey’s and one shot of Kahula and for those people who are pedantic, one shot is 35ml. To make this you simple add the ingredients as ...

...of Ireland first released their Baileys Irish Cream onto the market, and it has gone from strength to strength, even now being available in varieties (mint chocolate (award winning in 2008), crème caramel, coffee). The name Baileys is accredited to Andrew Bailey of the R.A. Bailey Company , but this is just a marketing ploy, there was never such a person or company. Baileys is a mixture of whiskey and cream, with hints of chocolate and vanilla, so ... ...was from Costco. In shops, Baileys tends to retail for around the £17 mark. It's quite often on offer, Tescos are currently offering a bottle for just £9 when you spend £30 in store! I find that one bottle lasts me a long while, at least 4 months. Each litre bottle contains 17 units, but I can't figure out if that is meant to imply that there are 17 servings per bottle, or what. With Christmas coming up there are loads of different Baileys gift sets ...

Advantages: Tastes great, makes a really refreshing tipple Disadvantages: Quite expensive & easy to drink too much!!
...be a nice glass of Baileys with ice. Mmmmn lovely! Baileys is the original Irish Cream alcoholic drink. Baileys is made from fresh Irish cream, the finest spirits and Irish whiskey. These three ingredients blended together make a really sweet and tasty drink, with the spirits and whiskey giving it a real kick. The taste of the alcohol is really evident, but doesn't over-power the drink. Some spirits have a tendancy to leave a burning sensation at ... ...One problem I find with Baileys is that it is easy to forget that it is alcoholic sometimes, as the flavour is really sweet and chocolately. Baileys is actually 17% alc/vol so is stronger than you think, so you may want to keep an eye on how much of it you are drinking or you will regret it the next morning! I know this is a mistake I have made in the past! The Baileys itself is quite a thick, creamy liquid. The colour of the liquid is similar to ...

Advantages: um ... it's creamy Disadvantages: Too sweet and sickly
BAILEYS IRISH CREAM is not normally a drink I would drink, but you know how it is at Crimbo, you rummage around in your stockings and have a feel at the goodies (or is that just me?). And lo and behold, there's always a bottle of something-or-other from someone-or-other cunningly wrapped in a long, slim gift-bag that possibly cost more than the contents. Being thought of as a bit of a 'jakey' - quite erroneously, as it happens - I am usually inundated ... ...down my neck. BAILEYS IRISH CREAM is a blend of Irish whiskey and cream, with a touch of vanilla, chocolate and sugar. It first appeared when it was introduced by Gilbeys of Ireland in 1974 and has gone on to be one of the most popular drinks worldwide. It's now owned by the huge multi-national, Diageo plc, who are responsible for Burger King, Smirnoff and Guinness, and many other well-known brands. Advantages: Delicious, Creamy and Unique Disadvantages: A bit expensive, easy to over indulge
Baileys Irish Cream is a drink that I occasionally drink and one of the reasons why I make sure that I drink it occasionally is because of its ability in luring you into a false sense of security whilst drinking it. The taste is very unlike other liqueurs. This is mainly due to the fact that Baileys consists of 50% of dairy cream. Baileys was launched in 1974 and today 1,600 glasses of Baileys are consumed every minute of every day. Wow!!! Baileys ... ...these are not compatible together. Baileys have managed this without using any additives or preservatives and providing a drink that is utterly and totally unique. My favourite way of having Baileys is with plenty of ice. It tastes a lot better when totally chilled. My wife prefers it straight but chilled. Another way of having this lovely drink is to mix it with piping hot coffee. This is a lot better than the usual Irish coffee. One of the elements ...

Advantages: Good quality, Decent value for money, A fresh twist on Baileys Disadvantages: I would have liked the chocolate flavourings to be a bit more pronounced
caramel and mint chocolate ? so I needed little persuasion to sample one of these bottles. On a whim I went for the mint chocolate version.
My bottle of Baileys with a hint of mint chocolate went down very well with both me and my guests over those holidays, but when I returned to the shops in the New Year to sample the crème caramel flavour, I was dismayed to find it gone from every shop I ventured into, and not even the divine google could locate me a bottle of the limited editions. But all was not lost! These two flavours became permanent parts of the Baileys range last autumn and returned to our shops in time to tempt us for Christmas again. While I can now confirm that Baileys with crème caramel is quite nice, it is the mint chocolate version that has become a strong favourite of mine.
