This multi purpose balm will moisturise and nourish your skin throughout the day&night. Tips for Using BalmBalm Add a Little Something to Your Balm Balm: Balm Balm is fragrance free but if you would like to add a little fragrance to your Balm Balm, try this.....Remove Balm balm lid and place jar in microwave for 60 seconds or until melted through. Add just one drop of your favourite essential oil or food flavouring. Stir with the end of a teaspoon. Put lid back on and place in the fridge to set. Skincare: Warm a little Balm Balm between your fingertips until it appears oily. Use underneath foundation or lipstickto allow them to smooth over skin more easily, diluted just enough to give a really natural look. Your own tinted moisturiser or lip gloss. Cuticles: Rub a little Balm balm into cuticles and nails and leave for a few mintues before gently pushing cuticles down with an orange stick. Balm Balm will soften cuticles&condition nails. Cradle Cap: Warm a little Balm Balm between your finger tips and rub gently into baby's scalp. No need to washout as Balm Balm is perfectly safe and will continue to condition and nourish flaky skin. Ingredients
There are three main substances used to "cook" carmex: Menthol as an anti-itch agent, camphor to relieve pain and phenol as an anaesthetic. Additionally lanolin, wax, coca butter, salicyl acid and a pertolatum-based fragrance were added.
Carma Labs, the producer, claim that Carmex is not tested on animals but only family members and consists of natural ingredients. They also say it's gluten-free, so much for the allergy advice. (I actually don't see a reason why a lipbalm should contain gluten anyway.)
Conclusion
I'm really happy I have found Carmex and it has become my favourite lipbalm as it cures all the problems other balms couldn ...

Disadvantages If used in combination with Clarins' oil-free foundation, the foundation may form fine flakes when applying over balm.
As female consumers, we are frequently bombarded with advertisements relating to beauty products, professing dramatic and immediate results.
It is aptly named beauty FLASH balm, as results are instantaneous. Upon application, the skin has a marked radiance. I have often found that I do not even have to apply liquid foundation, as one's skin texture is markedly improved. Fantastic for those of us who love a natural look!

Although I love Dermalogica the reason why I was quite tempted to buy this product is the claim that this balm gives you in saying that it erases the signs of fatigue. I thought it would be quite clever to use it especially the morning after a late night, when my skin looks dull and tired.
Clarins claims that this product does the following:
- Promotes immediate and long-lasting radiance.
- Firms and helps minimise fine lines and wrinkles.
- Smoothes and softens skin.
- Strengthens and refines the contours of the face; skin regains firmness and suppleness.
