The Rose Geranium lip balm is described as being a natural, organic balm suitable for all skin types and apparently is richly infused with rose geranium essential oil for its myriad skin care uses. The ... ...box and you'll find the balm (or is that balm balm?) comes in a little circular white container which is 7 ml. The only writing is on the screw top lid which has the words Balm Balm displayed prominently in the middle, and tells you that it's 100% organic and multi purpose, together with the company's web address.

This might sound like a trifling issue to some of you, but having lips that peel constantly is a big problem for me at the moment. My usual remedy is a handy pocket sized tin of Vaseline petroleum jelly (with Aloe Vera) but I've been looking around for something different to try recently as all the Vaseline seems to do is make my lips greasy for a while. Once it's worn off I'm back to sore dry lips again. So about a month ago I was queuing up in Boots to pay for my lunch when I spotted a row of pretty pink boxes stacked up by the magazines. They turned out to be Balm Balm's Rose Geranium lip balm. Not having heard of Balm Balm before, I was curious and decided to try it even though the price, at £2.99, was a bit steep for such a small pot.

The Rose Geranium lip balm is described as being a natural, organic balm suitable for all skin types and apparently is richly infused with rose geranium essential oil for its myriad skin care uses. The pretty pink packaging which first caught my eye goes on to say that among the ingredients are: shea butter, sunflower oil and jojoba oil. Well I can't ask for more than that! I must confess that on opening the lid, there is no particular scent, other than a slight smell of the plastic container which was a slight disapointment because I'd also seen the fragrance free variety on display in Boots at the same time. I had been expecting a slight smell of rose geranium but can't say that I've ever noticed it.

As well as Boots stores you can probably find them at other stores, however I haven't looked..
~ Overall ~
Having been using it several times a day for nearly a month now, I can say that I am pleased I bought it. This is the only the first Balm Balm product I've bought and at £2.99 it is expensive compared to other lip balms on the market, especially considering it is such a small sized pot .
Having said that, it seems to work because it lasts longer than Vaseline or other lip balms I've tried, so despite the virtually non-existent smell of Rose Geranium, I would buy this again and indeed would be happy to look at other products in their range too.
