...at the various options the Weber provided the best quality and value for money! The Weber range is endless with both charcoal and gas versions on offer. The Weber "one touch" Gold is a charcoal version. It is mid range with SIlver (low) and Platinum (high). They also come in two gril sizes 18.5" and 22.5" Prices for the Gold are between £129 and £159, Silver £99 - 129, Platinum £199+ All have varying features: Included in the Gold are: * Ash ...
...know someone that's had a weber for nearly 20 years and have never had a problem with it!) * Side Coal holders - so you can push the coal to the side and cook by an "indirect" method, i.e. a chicken in the middle. (I've never used these so can't really comment - but the ideas a good one!) The accesory range is also endless from chopping boards, to utensils, not forgetting spiced woodchips, all weather covers, cleaning aids, lighters, etc...etc....etc.... ... Read review

Weber One Touch Silver
Review of Weber One Touch Silver BBQ by pau1d

Advantages: Good Entry Level Weber
Disadvantages: Open Ash Catcher

The Weber One Touch Silver is pretty much the entry level range of Weber 's BBQ range. I have bought one of these barbecues from www.dawsonsdepartmentstore.co.uk and it came with a free Weber BBQ cover. Weber have called this bbq "One Touch" as inside the bbq are blades which can be turned, using a handle on the outside, to push ash through holes in the base of the bbq into the ash catcher. Thus the One Touch Cleaning system. The difference between ...
...guests if its windy. The Weber One Touch Gold has an enclosed Ash Catcher, ash cannot escape and can be emptied after a couple of barbecues. The quality of the bbq is without doubt the best I have had, they are more expensive than other barbecues but the shiny black porcelain enamel still looks as good as it did when I built it at the start of the summer even though its rained constantly. The bbq I ordered came from www.dawsonsdepartmentstore.co.uk ... Read review

Morrisons Instant BBQ
Review of Morrisons Instant BBQ by almarsden

Advantages: Cheap, Last a long time
Disadvantages: Quite hard to light, only available for short period

We used Morrisons instant BBQs over the summer several times, they were a very good price and easy to get hold of throughout the summer. They were great for taking to the beach and various other places. They were a bit difficult to light compared to other instant BBQs we have used but did last long enough to cook enough for 2 people on a couple of their BBQs. They were packaged well and are easy to put out and dispose of when you are done. Unfortunately ...
...to replace their stock with things such as kids school uniform they are no longer are available even though the weather is still nice as they are usually located in the seasonal section of the supermarket. I would definately recommend them as they are only around £2 to buy which is brilliant for a day out somewhere for a BBQ. ... Read review

Tesco Instant Barbecues - great great great!
Review of Tesco Instant by yummy.mummy

Advantages: Cheap and work great!
Disadvantages: Only disadvantage is that its not reusable

...friend of ours recommended buying Tesco Instant Disposable barbecues instead as she had found success with them previously. So with some trepidation on our part we purchased them, based on her advice. Before our little gathering we had no opportunity to test this brand, until the day of the party itself. This is where the difference became very apparent. The Tesco Disposable barbecues were SO much better and dispelled our fears within ten minutes ...
...What is great about Tesco disposable barbecues is that: - They are very cheap -and great if you cant afford a new reuseable barbecue! - they are mobile -you can take them practically anywhere - on picnics, to a friends, wherever you feel like - they are easy to dispose of -you just need to wait for them to cool down first - the heat of the barbecues is dispersed evening so you can place multiple items on at once - the heat itself is at the right ... BBQ Time!!
Review of Sainsburys Instant BBQ by Misanthropic_MeL

Advantages: Nice packaging, no assembly needed, easy to light and use
Disadvantages: Cools down after a while, doesn't stay hot for very long

...across this in my local Sainsburys store after seeing it on offer at half price. I didn't plan to have a BBQ but somehow the price and the nice day made me buy it and ring up a few close friends to come along to it. I haven't used disposable BBQ's before but they seemed like a good idea as they are easy to clean up and you don't need to assemble anything which saves time and mess. The packaging is nice and the contents are the BBQ itself with the ...
...as you simply light a match and light the bag which contained the charcoal and let it burn for approximately 20 minutes whilst you have time to service drinks and to get the food prepared. After 20 minutes It was fairly hot so we decided to put some chicken wings on it to see how well they cooked. This was followed by and then some sausages. At first, it seemed to cook the chicken wings well but after about 30 minutes it was starting to cool down ... Read review
