In the rush to internet services, companies often forget that conventional channels exist alongside the internet. Barclays online offering works well, but trying to get through by phone to sort out an issue can be a nightmare. Everyone seems to pack up shop at 4.30, and I have even had the phone ringing out without even a voicemail response. Very irritating when it's normal working hours and you can't get through to sort out a problem that is holding up a transaction. Luckily, timing has never been critical to a share price, but its something the company shoudl look at.
