I paid just under £13 for the small pot of Bare Escentuals Blush, the shade I chose was called `Lovely`.
I have pale skin, I need to wear foundation cream and then my already pale skin often looks paler than ever, if I went without any blusher then I would look completely washed out.

The Bare Escentuals Blush is really fine and satiny, it gives you a glow without making it too noticeable.
The light powder just needs to touch your skin and it adds just a hint of the palest pink. I have tried using bronzing pearls and powders but I always find that they look too hard.

I wouldn't like to think how many blushers there are on the market at any one time, you can pay a small fortune for a good one or you can pay a small amount of money and get one that does an adequate job. I usually try to strike the happy medium, although I have quite a few pots of blusher I know that if I am careful and choose the right colour that the pot will be with me for many months to come.
I paid just under £13 for the small pot of Bare Escentuals Blush, the shade I chose was called `Lovely`. I have pale skin, I need to wear foundation cream and then my already pale skin often looks paler than ever, if I went without any blusher then I would look completely washed out.
The small circular opaque glass pot looks very presentable and it has a matt black plastic screw top lid. Inside of the pot you have 0.03 oz of blusher powder made from 100% bare minerals. Escentuals Blush powder is free from any harmful ingredients and is suitable for any type of skin. I have dry skin which I moisturise well before I put any foundation cream on, then I brush my blusher on and it doesn't highlight any of the dry patches.
I usually use a large make up brush to apply blusher, it seems to work well. I just dip the top of the brush into the pot and then make sure that the excess powder is knocked back into the pot. Then I start to work the brush around the apple of my cheek and maybe take the blusher a little higher up toward my eye. The actual amount that I apply is next to nothing but it does make all the difference. The Bare Escentuals Blush is really fine and satiny, it gives you a glow without making it too noticeable. The light powder just needs to touch your skin and it adds just a hint of the palest pink. I have tried using bronzing pearls and powders but I always find that they look too hard. The Bare Escentuals blusher is capable of giving you a fairly natural look and I feel that is because it only touches the skin lightly and deposits tiny amounts of powder whereas many blushers adopt that artificial look as soon as they are applied – they sit on your cheeks like a coat of paint ! The blusher has staying power and just washes off either with soap and water or if you prefer then use a make up remover.
I bought my Bare Escentuals blush from QVC but in fact I wished that I had done a thorough price comparison check before I bought it, it seems that there are some good bargains about at the moment. Take a good look at the range of shades too, I think there are about fifteen shades to choose from, I know at the time I was torn between ordering the shade called `Lovely` and a shade called `Laughter`. One thing that pleased me greatly was that Bare Escentuals assure their customers that the products are not tested on animals, I think that is so important to know.
The blusher is good, it is light and it blends well. It doesn't look artificial or caked on and it is easy to apply. I think that the price that I paid is about a middle of the road price and I have been more than satisfied with the product.
