While buying online is comfy, buying at the store ... ...as crowded as the malls or other gift shops. For anyone who thinks that Barnes and NObles is just for books...check out this list here...of all the things that your local Barnes and Nobles most likely sells [I've seen these things in my own B AND N } Bookmarks, books, picture frames, coffee mugs, picnic sets for little girls, book sets, and the miniature items [under eight dollars usually] are the things like water fountains, zen sets, calligraphy ...

Anyway this time I went to www.barnesandnoble.com and found just what I was looking for and right now for a short time, if you order 2 or more books you get shipping and handling ... ...got to go through “MY POINTS” and I got 2 points for every dollar spent! Another bargain. Was she happy? Yeppers she was! Was I? You better believe it, because now she will leave me alone about ordering the books, and besides, I may read them also. She needed "The Grapes of Wrath", "The Scarlet Letter" and I am so sorry I can't remember the other one correctly, but something like "Their Eyes are Watching God" I think, but I know I am ...

Advantages: Good Selection Disadvantages: Not everyone can take advantage of the offers
I was generally surfing last Saturday night when I came across Barnes & Noble. I wasn't looking for books, I wanted to buy a new PC game. My favorite store in The States for games was a place called "Babbages", they sold everything from PC to Playstation and was a place I visited whenever I could or at least whenever my husband let me! What's the point of my rambling? Well, I found out that Barnes & Noble bought out Babbages and are now combined ... ...on the the same site as the book store, is called "Gamespot" and has a good selection of old and new games for all systems. I know that a lot of people won't be able to take advantage of all that's available because it's designed for NTSC and not PAL but the selection of PC games makes it a place well worth visiting and if you are able to use the Playstation or Nintendo games then I would definitely recommend it.
