Advantages: Classic games Disadvantages: No DVD player
...The Nintendo Gamecube hasn't been selling as well as the X-Box or PS2 which I fell is very unjustified. I've played quite a few games on it and they were all great( Resident Evil, Super Mario Sunshine, Tony hawks 4 and the amazing Zelda). The great thing about the gamecube is it has a lot of classics just found on the gamecube. The controller is good, the buttons are very well placed on it and it has a good feel. The discs are smaller than the PS2 and X-box ones, which makes a DVD player impossible which is one bad thing about it. The graphics are better than the PS2 but not as good as the X-box but all of them have good graphics.
Bottom line buy a Gamecube...

...Gamecube
This box shaped games console is actually quite good, it has very nice colours and the gamepads are very well made, the analogue on it makes it very easy to control the character and by the shape of the control makes it faster to press any button without any problem, the particular console is very hard wich is good because it can last longer and it can esist very hard collitions, it is light, if you have a gameboy you can connect it to the gamecube and play your games in the TV screen, it is very easy to carry it to other places like a friends house and you only need to connect to cables 1 between the TV and the gamecube and the other for the power supply, the games have very good graphics I think a Gamecube is higly recomended for people who likes games consoles it's useful, reccomendable and practic...

...I have had my gamecube since the day they came out, and have loved every minute of it! The range of games isn't quite as large as that of the PS2, but who cares? Not I, for one. The Gamecube has an incredible graphics chip (A GeForce 4, I believe) which gives it the power to run games that would melt the PS2... Anyone who's played Mario Sunshine knows what I mean... The pixel count on that game is in the multi-millions, I'm sure!
The games on the Gamecube are not as plentiful as the PS2 games, and not as good as the Xbox games, however they have their own charm. The Gamecube's versatileness allows it to run games such as F-Zero GX, which can have a game with 30 players in it, and not even be the slightest bit lagged, despite the fast speed of the game. The Xbox might be capable of doing this, but I'm fairly sure the PS2 can...
