But this was probably because I was being just a little bit too heavy handed with the gloves. Once I got used to them I was actually quite pleased because I achieved better results using the gloves than I did using Nougat Exfoliating Body Wash. The best thing is that the gloves cost much less than the Nougat Exfoliating Body Wash so I have more money to spend on other beauty lotions, potions and perfumes. Advantages: Better smell than most, creates a gradual nice colour.

...Dove Summer Glow Tanning Lotion is the second product in its range that I have used, and it's the best yet. I apply the lotion just before bed. I ignore the advice to exfoliate first because that involves a shower...and I'm not having a shower just to cover myself in smelly cream! To be frank. But without exfoliation it works fine. It's gradual, so personally I notice it after 2 consecutive applications and then every other day maintains it perfectly. The colour produced is a golden tan colour that suits your skin because it is so gradual. The only downpoint to this product for me is that it is slightly sticky once applied and has that fake tan smell. A product without that stickyness and smell would be the perfect product. ...After trying several fake tan lotions with not very pleasing results I decided to try Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion. Being a red head my skin is really fair. I bought mine in Tesco's. It was £4.99 but on buy 1 get 1 free offer so at just under £2.50 a bottle I thought I had nothing to lose. After using for 4 days I started to develop a natural looking tan. What I really liked about it was the tan was not orange like many others I have used. The smell was pleasant too, no strong chemical smell afterwards. It also absorbed into my skin fairly well and quite quickly unlike other moisturisers with fake tan which tend to leave my skin feeling sticky. As with all fake tans do wash your hands after and do remember to do the usual exfoliating business before use. Overall a great product.... Read review
