Lip Paint. All have a beautiful soft, creamy texture that\'s packed full of natural moisturisers to help them glide on and stay comfortable to wear for hours.
Advantages: long lasting Disadvantages: none really
BarryM Cosmetics are a brand widely known for their vivid and daring products.
Amongst these products are 'Nail Paints'.
There are over 50 colours in this range. From metallic finishes, matte finishes and sparkly finishes. From neon shades to pearly shades, there is a colour and style to suit everyone. So no matter what your mood or what the occasion, you can find just what you are looking for... which is something I love about this range.
For this review I have chosen my current favourite, '292 Navy'.
The Nail Paint bottle is rectangular glass and very striking in comparison to regular round bottles elsewhere on the market. The top is black and round and is very easy to open.
On the front of the bottle we are told simply, "NAIL PAINT by BarryM" with the website www.barrym.com in a smaller font at the bottom ...
Advantages: A nice, easy to use lipgloss Disadvantages: Smell and taste isn't all that great but oh well that's the price you have to pay lol
Again after some reviews on BarryM I've read on here I've been looking at the range on a regular basis. I wanted to buy some of them gorgeous glittery eye dusts but to me they look a bit tricky to use and I know I don't have a steady hand and besides that I got some of those kinds of products already by some offering by Bourjois and a couple of gorgeous ones by collection 2000 I've purchased recently so in a way I thought I should purchase something more useful! If you've ever read any of my make up reviews you will know by now that I'm not really enthralled by lip-glosses or lipsticks and usually after writing about them I bin them as I come to realise how rubbish they really are!
So off I went to Superdrug in my quest where I'm greeted by a wonderful looking BarryM stand. The colours are bright, young and vibrant! So I hunt ...
Advantages: An amazing selection of colours, one for every Girl (or boy!) Disadvantages: You'll find yourself wanting every single shade.
There's just something completely lovely about seeing a row of chunky little pots standing in a row on your dresser. Each holding a different, amazing colour.
I'll review a few different shades I have, even though I love BarryM I find each pot is completely different in one way or another.
Red Glitter - This is my favourite out of my little collection. Two coats and you've got fingernails to the likes of Dorothy's ruby slippers. When I bought it I thought it would be a basic red paint with some glitter thrown in, but this is full on glitter magic. Not really for the understated - I wouldn't reccomend it to a French Manicure queen - it's nice on a friday night after work to strip back my basic colours and put this one on.
Downside to the red glitter nail varnish is that's it's a pain to get off. It takes a good half minute to do ...
