I never thought fishing would make it onto the games console and if it did it would be laughable, but this has prooved me wrong. It's a far cry from old men sat beside some fish free canal. The game basically is what it says fishing. The aim of the game is to select the correct lure for the conditions and setting and to catch the biggest fish. Simply eh! Yes but has a very addictive quality. The game has both practice and competition modes and provide hours of entertainment. The fishing rod controller takes a bit of getting used to and yes you do look a fool waving it around you living room. It can be played with normal DC controllers, but this in my opinion is too complex. The graphics look pretty good with turtles and crayfish crawling around and is a very smooth running game. The only drawback is the annoying commentary when you catch a fish. All in all a very good game and well worth forking out for the controller as well.
