Advantages: Providing fussy eaters with the right vitamins Disadvantages: Keep out of reach!
A couple of months ago my step daughter decided that she doesn’t like vegetables anymore. She went from a fully fledged vegetarian who ate every single green plant on this earth to a fussy meat eater that will eat only meat or ‘yellow food’. Yellow food is what I usually call anything like chips, chicken nuggets or fish fingers. Yellow food is what I cook when I have had a hard day at University and am too tired to prepare a full blown meat, potatoes ... ...tend to eat the odd bit of fruit, not eating vegetables was starting to worry me. Mainly because since her reluctance to eat vegetables she has been off school through some sort of illness, mainly hacking coughs and head colds.
But seen as I can’t force her to eat healthily I had to search for another option.
Whilst shopping in Sainsbury’s a couple of weeks ago I saw these multivitamins for kids, I know these have been on the market for a while, ...

Advantages: taste yummy Disadvantages: possible laxative effect!
As I’m not a very good sleeper, I constantly feel tired. This doesn’t normally bother me, but as its coming up to exam time (yet again) I felt I needed to do something about it. I’d also noticed that I was getting a lot of bruises that were taking a long while to heal. On the first day of term, I banged my leg on my dad’s car, not very strongly, but it left a huge bruise on my shin that took about two weeks to heal. So, I thought it was definitely ... ...I started doing more exercise and went out to buy some vitamins. In my trusty Bodycare shop, I noticed the Bassett’s Soft & Chewy Multivitamins. I used to have these when I was doing my A-levels and I remembered that I used to love the taste, so I decided to give them a try.
*** The Packaging ***
The vitamins come in a purple and pink box with yellow writing. On the front it says, ‘Bassett’s soft & chewy Multivitamins - 30 One-a-day Soft & chewy ...

Advantages: Taste nice, Help maintain body, Good for enticing children to take vitamins! Disadvantages: you want more than one a day :)
One of my favourite sweets is jelly babies YUM! It was always a hard choice between the black one and the red ones. Which ever sweet I chose though, neither was good for me as they have a high sugar content. Advantages: good taste, beneficial for general health Disadvantages: only one size pack available
I bought Bassett's soft and chewy multivitamins as I struggle to take pills at the best of times.
I tried the blackcurrant flavour but they also come in strawberry and orange so there is a variety to suit all tastes. They do taste just like the majority of blackcurrant cordials, so I have no complaints with the taste at all. They are chewy, like a sweet. They are small in size (about a 5p coin in diameter, although thicker) and take only a minute ... ...leave no aftertaste when eaten.
The box is a pack of 30, so enough to last a month if just for one person, and cost £1.34 in Morrisons, although I have seen them for as much as £1.99, so you need to pick where you buy them. They are not suitable for vegetarians due to the gelatine in them.
They contain vitamins A, D, E, C, B2 (riboflavin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyrodoxine HCI), B12 (cyanocobalamin) and Folic Acid.
I cannot pretend to know ...

Advantages: Kids love them, easy to administer Disadvantages: too much like sweets
When my 3 year old daughter decided to give up on the idea of eating proper meals and refuse everything but fromage frais it left my wife and I worried that she wasnt getting everything she needed to keep her healthy.
According to our health visitor and doctor it was just a phase and they recommended that we give her some vitamins to supplement her diet.
After trying several different methods of administering the vitamins everything more or less ... ...her drink, but she tasted it and then refused to drink too!! What a nightmare we were having.
So, when we were on our usual weekly trip to Asda, we noticed they sold a huge range of vitamins , some for adults and YESSS some for kids, but which one would suit us best?
I had this mad little tune running through my head, then it came to me, it was an advert I had seen, a sort of karaoke style advert advertising multi vitamins for kids ~~~~~~"Bassett's ...
