I bought Bassett's soft and chewy multivitamins as I struggle to take pills at the best of times.
I tried the blackcurrant flavour but they also come in strawberry and orange so there is a variety to suit all tastes. They do taste just like the majority of blackcurrant cordials, so I have no complaints with the taste at all. They are chewy, like a sweet. They are small in size (about a 5p coin in diameter, although thicker) and take only a minute or two to eat. They are completely smooth and leave no aftertaste when eaten.
The box is a pack of 30, so enough to last a month if just for one person, and cost £1.34 in Morrisons, although I have seen them for as much as £1.99, so you need to pick where you buy them.
They are not suitable for vegetarians due to the gelatine in them.
They contain vitamins A, D, E, C, B2 (riboflavin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyrodoxine HCI), B12 (cyanocobalamin) and Folic Acid.
I cannot pretend to know what all these vitamins do for me, but am working on the basis that vitamins and minerals, in certain amounts are good for the body, and these multivitamins contain 100% of the recommended daily allowance in one pastille (only one is to be taken each day).
Since taking these vitamins (the past few months), I have suffered from less coughs and colds than usual. It may be a coincidence, but I like to believe they are doing me some good.
There is a small warning on the side of the box to inform people that no other vitamin A or D supplements should be taken. These also do not have any minerals, they are simply a selection of vitamins. However, they taste good, are chewy so no need for swallowing big pills, do not break the bank and are good for the entire family.
