As for opening the bag, I challenge you to open it without getting a long slit lengthways down the bag, resulting in sweets all over the floor, they need to improve their design! The sweets inside however are individually wrapped in clear and green cellophane which has 'Bassett's Murray ... Read review

Advantages: Not too minty, nice and creamy, cheap, long-lasting (for some!) Disadvantages: Bad package design, no chewy centre! Outside goes soft
Apparently these most unassuming of mints have been around since 1944, but who knows how they have they survived for so long as I have never met anybody else apart from myself who buys them!
Murray mints are small, hard, oval, opaque sweets the colour of clotted cream. They are sweet and creamy with a mild minty taste. They are smooth to suck, and similar in creaminess and texture to Werther's Originals.

Now here in Ireland these sweets are very ... ...shop. However I believe they are a rarity in the UK. I recommend if you see them in a shop - grab them. They are available in a 227g bag but they are also available in a roll. I would reccommend buying the roll because for some strange reason once you open the bag the outside of these sweets go soft. Im not sure why this happens as the sweets are individually wrapped.
These sweets kind of have the texture of Werthers Original but with a slight minty ...
