My subsitute for chocolate
Review of Bassetts Flumps by shibby_01

Advantages: Sooooooo tasty and cheap!
Disadvantages: You get fat!

...buy some jelly babies from Bassetts and they could live in your flump city and then you could pretend that a big monster (you) comes and destroys the city by eating it all! Or if your really bored you could take out the normal twisted one and try to untwist each colour and eat them separately. I found the single big twists are more suitable for this. You have to try and untwist them without breaking the line! Exciting! I have also found how nice ...
...You can push an m&m or malteaser in to the middle of the flump and then eat the whole thing! It tastes great! Or if you’re feeling like a real pig, you could but a 200g bar of Cadburys dairy milk or if you prefer the dream bar. Melt the chocolate in a bowl on top of a saucepan with boiling water inside it. Then transfer the chocolate into a sliver pie dish and whilst its still melted push loads of flumps into it. Put it in the fridge until ... Read review

Review of Bassetts Flumps by pumfster

Advantages: Yummy for your tummy
Disadvantages: None

...the marshmallow, made by the Bassetts company. However, unlike just plain shaped marshmallows, they come in all different shapes and sizes. From yellow and pink twists to straight cylinders and everything in between, Flumps are the marshmallow of choice for many people :) (well me anyway!!!) They come either in a 130g bag costing around about a pound or as a long twist, about the size of a king size mars bar, which cost a cool 10p. They are available ...
...shops. The bags themselves, like the sweets, are very colourful, and unlike many sweets, the bag is easy to open, so you can stuff your face without the infuriating hassle of fiddling with the packaging. The sweets themselves are very much like other marshmallow brands, however they do have something extra, not really sure how to describe this, but believe me once you have tried Flumps you won't go back to other brands :) A major plus of these in ... ...a very soft texture - always good I suppose if you have false teeth as no fear of gettin it stuck in your nashers. (not that I have false teeth! I was just thinking of my gran because she likes them.) So when you bite into it, it bubbles a bit and then the vanilla flavour is released. I have also been known to dip this flump in my tea. It goes gooey and its a good substitute for chocolate. Also, you can freeze them too. It makes them chewy and last ... Read review

THEY ARE FLUMPIN' LOVELY!
Review of Bassetts Flumps by motodoughnut

Advantages: Lovey marshmellowy sweets
Disadvantages: make you bloated

I really fancied some marshmallows when I was in my local supermarket and I saw a bag of flumps. I normally only buy these are Christmas, because I always eat too many of them, but I thought what the hay, I will treat myself. THE PACKAGING Flumps come in a big bag the weight is whopping 130g, when you think how light they are that is a lot. The bag is quite bright and has lots of pictures of the flumps on and has flumps written on the front. THE ...
...sweets to look at; they are all different shapes, some of them are twisted and some of them are plain, they come in all different colours like, green, pink yellow and white. Flumps measure about 5cm long and about 1 ½cm in diameter. The taste of Flumps is lovely; there are so many cheaper copies of flumps now a days that just do not taste the same, Flumps have a smooth texture and taste sweet enough, but not too sweet, whereas, the copies have an ... delicious!
Review of Bassetts Flumps by StephyBabes

Advantages: yummy and colourful!
Disadvantages: get very mourish! lol

I had my first flump a few years ago and I have been addicted to them ever since. They are a marshmallow but are different to ordinary marshmallows. They are shaped into things like twists, squares etc instead of the boring round shape. They are coloured in colours such as pink, green, yellow and white. Instead of the usual pink and white. The Bassets flumps I have found are in a long twist in a wrapper and are sold for 10p. I am not sure weather ...
...I am sure if you can't now that you will be able to in the future. The flumps obviously taste like marshmallows but they are not as sickly as marshmallows. They do not contain the jelly like middle that some marshmallows I have tried contain. They are sweet tasting but not so sweet that you feel sick after eating a few of them. They have a slight powdered finish to them which I find leaves a strange feeling in your mouth. It also gets a bit messy ... Read review
