Lush Bath Bombs

You have had a really hard day. Every nook and cranny of your body is aching for some pampering. You run a hot bath. Drop in a bath bomb and hey presto a mini volcano erupts with chunks of lava racing up to the surface of the water. The smell is so inviting and as you step into the bath your toes are already soothed. You lie down and soak your whole body inhaling the escaping fragrances. Allie and I had spent a day shopping. Our little feet were weary, our purses were empty and our bodies were worn out. We needed some relaxation and pampering. Remember when you were a kid on bath night, I do, it was great. When I was little, about 3, after my bath on Friday nights my Mum would always have a sandwich, a hot cup of tea and Smarites on a plate waiting for when I got out. I used to love bath nights. Baths went out of fashion for a while, everyone thought it was so much better to rush rush rush everywhere, got to have a shower, no time for baths. While I’m waiting for Ciao to put up the category I just requested (a brand of frozen pizza – terribly exciting!), I thought I might invite you all to join me for bath time. As per normal, I am behind the times! Seems that everyone else has already tried these years ago, but I have only just discovered them! Typical! After reading about bath bars and other such weird things, I saw sitting on a shelf in a nearby Sainsbury a strange collection of balls! They were in all the colours of rainbow, and the smell coming off them was strong, to say the least!
