Advantages: Nice looking products which lure you into the shop
Disadvantages: Poor quality products with non-standard fittings, rubbish after-sales. Essentially cheap and tacky products with high price tags, fooling you into purchasing with generous sale offers.

I bought products for two bathrooms. All was well during the purchase, however stock is not ordered in line with customer orders - it is pure pot luck - we had delays on some of the key pieces. No delivery dates could be confirmed, and had I not gone elsewhere I'd still be waiting for some of it. Problems started in earnest when the fitting started. No cisterns, which I then had to buy from another supplier. The wrong cistern fittings. Cistern lids ...
...didn't work. Bath panels with the wrong fitting kits. Showers with non-standard fittings, with no converters available (my bathroom fitter improvised with a gas fitting supplied by a plumbing merchant, along with a few of his own bits and pieces). Shower heads with no bracket fittings to attach them to the tiles. Sinks with brackets too small to hold the basins on the walls. ...naturally quite delighted when a bathstore.com opened in Gateshead (on my doortep. After all, it's MUCH easier to select something if it's real and not virtual. So, armed with hubby, off we went for a little look around to kit out our almost ready shower room in the loft conversion. ...a good range of products on offer. the staff were friendly but not overly so, and showed a reasonable knowledge of the products. Enjoying ourselves? I think so. We knew what we wanted, and since we needed only a shower, sink and toilet with cistern, we couldn't go wrong How wrong we were. FROM MY DEALINGS WITH BATHSTORE I DISAGREE WITH ALL THE BAD PRESS ABOUT THEM.I HAVE BEEN USING BATHSTORE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS DELERVERED OUTSTANDING PRODUCTS, SERVICE AND AFTER CARE TO ME (AN INSTAULER) AND ALL THE CUSTOMERS I HAVE RECOMENDED TO THEM.THINK OF HOW MANY SATISFY CUSTOMERS THERE ARE.THERE ARE VERY FEW BAD REVIEWS TO GO BY.PPL ONLY EVER WRITE BAD THINGS ABOUT COMPANYS WHAT ABOUT ALL THE SATISFYED CUSTOMERS.QUALITY IS ONE OF THE BEST AROUND FOR THE MONEY.GOOD STAFF.ALWAYS THERE TO HELP.

Disadvantages: Some items poor quality.

My experience of Bathstore is somewhat limited, as we bought only the sanitaryware (bath, toilet, basin, & bidet) from this store, and the remainder of our requirements (bath panels, taps, shower cubicle and shower fitting, bathroom accessories) from elsewhere. Choosing was easy, due to the well-organised website and glossy brochure: I visited and ordered from my local branch in person as I wanted to see the items 'in the flesh' as it were! I ended ...

This was not a problem: I simply told the man who served me what I wanted and it was all ordered without query. The staff who served me seemed helpful and not at all pushy. Initial experience with Bathstore.com sales people was good - they were friendly and pointed out several things that had been overlooked. The main part of the delivery occurred when it should have done and notification was provided the day before. However, the store manager who took my order and made several suggestions failed to enter the order correctly and appeared to have made several mistakes. ...Initial contact with Bathstore.com with regards to the wooden cabinet was bordering on the flippant. Subsequent contact regarding the two basins appeared to resolve both issues, but not without a great deal of grief. Later in the process of fitting the bathroom, it rapidly appeared that the supplied pan and cistern do not work as they should.
