ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Batiste Dry Shampoo is obviously a dry shampoo. This means that you can spray this product onto your hair when it is looking a little greasy and it will 'revitalise' it and remove the greasy look from your hair. The product is a personal favourite as it gives your hair that just washed look and is very easy to use, even if you have to quickly nip out and have forgot to wash your hair. Many different brands in the past have bought out their own versions of this dry shampoo but this is considered as the 'original'. There are a few different types of this dry shampoo that are described and listed below...
Listed on the Batiste web site, there is the 'scent-sational' range which has the original smelling shampoo, Boho, Blush, Diva and Tropical. There is also a range of 'coloured' dry shampoo's which are designed to leave no white dust from the shampoo in your hair, instead, leaving it coloured. Obviously you would buy the product that matches your hair type, therefore I would buy the brown coloured dry shampoo. Dry shampoo is different to normal shampoo in that it does not require water to work. The shampoo is therefore talcum powder based as talcum powder strips away the grease from the roots and scalp.
WHY USE DRY SHAMPOO?
I believe that you should use Batiste dry shampoo because if like me, you like to use electrical products such as hair dryers, straighteners or curling tongues. This is because the dry shampoo will keep you from washing your hair as regularly which means you may not have to use these appliances as often as normal. What this means is your hair wont be as damaged, leaving you with less split ends. This is a fantastic product for those who have been out all night, get home in the morning and think "poo, my hair looks awful and work starts in half an hour!!" you can quickly and easily apply this product to your roots and scalp to get rid of that chip pan look, because let's be honest; it's not a good look.
WHY DO I BUY THIS PRODUCT?
Personally I buy this product for the above reasons; that it is quick and easy to apply. The smell of the spray is very nice and pleasant and doesn't smell like tin or like chemicals like many hairspray's do. The product used to be advertised everywhere but now is a sort of "old wives tale" sort of product. I mean, that kind of product that your mum would recommend to you because she used it when she was younger. The packaging is very simple but is eye catching at the same time. The Tropical variety of Dry Shampoo is considered the original and is my personal favourite. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, even YOU!
WHAT ARE THE DOWNSIDES?
I personally don't believe that there are many downsides to this product but for the purpose of the review I will pick fault. The non coloured range of this Dry Shampoo's do leave your hair looking a paler shade than normal, in my case this would be a grey/brown colour. This wears off if you rub it in a little but you would think that it would spray clear. The product does run out quite quickly I find if you use the product quite regularly but if this Dry Shampoo is just for that odd occasion then this will last quite a while as the container holds 150ml of Dry Shampoo.
The product is sold in many different super markets, chemists and high street stores. The Dry shampoo is sold at...

Original batiste dry shampoo smells like really tangy sweets (I prefer the original batiste dry shampoo personally) You can buy batiste dry shampoo in 150ml and 50ml cans, 50ml cans are perfect to put in your handbag so you can use it throughout the day. So what is dry shampoo? And what makes it so different to normal shampoo? In the late 1960’s many women used talc on their hair, talc powder is a really easy way to remove grease ...

...reviews. After noticing that this Batiste dry shampoo was quite a popular product and seeing the many reviews written on it I got that fluttering in my tummy and that fidget of the fingers. I had try it! So on my lunch break last week I walked all the way up the high street (a good 20 minute walk) and spent most of my lunch on the hunt for Batiste dry shampoo. Oh the relief when I saw it glistening on the shelf! So I grabbed a can and looked after ... ...please!
** Who are Batiste **
Before seeing this on Dooyoo I had never heard of the brand Batiste. I assumed it would be a French cosmetics and beauty range. Wrong! The brand Batiste belongs to Fine Fragrances & Cosmetics LTD which is based in Sunbury on Thames. They have been operating since 1982 so they are a pretty new company. But they own a few other brands and sell the Batiste product in the UK and abroad. The company seems as though it has ...

Advantages: Leaves hair looking clean between washes. Disadvantages: The can isn't big enough!
...one I purchased is called Batiste Tropical, and it really does smell quite tropical!
It claims to "refresh and revitalise hair between washes" and I can certainly vouch for that, as I can now wash my hair every 2 or sometimes even 3 days. Although even I admit by the 3rd day it is quite in need of that wash.
I usually use this as soon as my hair starts looking greasy at the roots; I give the can a good shake and spray quite liberally towards my ... ...look when it's needing washed…well Batiste actually brightens the hair a little too…so appears to look cleaner. As I mentioned before this really does smell quite tropical, almost like a summer holiday perfume. Hard to put my finger on any one scent in particular but I think I detect a fruity, coconut smell, although it is not overpowering, but people do comment on how nice my hair smells when I'm at work. For anyone who is worried about ingredients ...

...with my greasy hair situation. Batiste Dry Shampoo.
This product comes in a green can similar to a can of hair spray. The design is quite simple and old-fashioned which automatically made me have doubts about buying it but it was recommended by a friend with great looking hair so I took the risk. The can I have here is 200ml (although this includes 1/3 extra free). It cost me the bargain price of £1.99 from Superdrug. It can be found on the shelf ... ...their hair properly.
Although Batiste Dry Shampoo has some bad points, it will still always be a constant feature on my dressing table. It’s an essential for bad hair day emergencies, and believe me I have plenty of those. I’d recommend it to all those greasy-haired people who are too lazy or too busy to wash their hair as often as they should. ...

Advantages: attractive, works a little Disadvantages: there are better options out there
It was only quite recently that I discovered dryshampoo products, and although I would rather have freshly washed and dried clean hair, sometimes time is not that relaxed and dryshampoo can come in quite handy! For Christmas I received a little vanity bag of goodies, and inside it I came across the batistedryshampoo Blush product. I had never seen it before nor had I even heard of it so I was incredibly keen to try it out!
WHAT IS IT?
The BatisteDryShampoo Blush is basically a dryshampoo product. that is used to give your hair a little bit more glamour by slightly degreasing it when you do not have time to wash it. It comes in a lovely little bottle, with a gorgeous baby pink colour to go with its fresh green lid. There are little pink flowers printed on too, surrounding the product's title which stands out beautifully. The thing ...
Advantages: Fresh, clean hair with no water! Disadvantages: Fine mist may affect some users
Review of Batiste Tropical DryShampooBatisteDryShampoo has been around for years, I can recall buying in the 1970's for use when travelling. I recently rediscovered the product following a relatives stay in hospital and have been so pleased with the results that I felt it worthy of a review!
Why I Bought It
My Mother has been seriously ill over the past few months, she had a total renal failure and complications due to a heart/circulatory condition. She was hospitalised for a while and when she finally came home, she was still very weak and one of her difficulties was washing her hair. Her carer tried shampooing Mum's hair over the sink and in the shower, but neither way was very successful and the whole procedure became distressing for my Mother. Her hair was beginning to look decidedly lank and unkempt, something under ...
Advantages: Mops up grease, smells nice Disadvantages: Results only last a few hours
If there?s one thing that?s guaranteed to ruin my day and make me feel like staying at home it?s greasy hair, so much so that a friend recently bought me some BatisteDryShampoo, saying that I now had no reason not to go out whether I?ve washed my hair or not! It costs £2.07 for a 150ml can in Boots, which is very reasonable when compared to other dryshampoos which are available.
It comes in a bright yellow aerosol can with a green lid, giving it a tropical look to go with the scent. The product is basically a white starchy powder which you spray onto your hair. It comes out as a pretty heavy mist, but it?s easy to get an even coverage as long as you hold it about 30cm away from your hair when spraying. It has a very strong coconut scent which is nice, but can be overpowering when you first spray it.
After spraying it on you just ...
