This game starts of with an excellent clip of batman escorting the one and only joker back to the Asylum but what seemed strange is that he basically give himself up. As this is the batman we are talking about he has his suspicions and decides to follow the joker as he is getting escorted to his room in the Asylum. On your way to his room you bump into another arch-enemy who is being escorted and this is just the beginning. You will encounter a lot of his enemies and the ones you don't see you will come across through collectables which will give you detailed information on the villains batman has encountered. The controls are very easy to get the hang of and there is an excellent upgrade system which will allow you to unlock batman's gadgets and moves which will make it easier for you!! As you progress through the game bashing up the jokers goons and arch enemies your suit will also get ripped and torn. The thugs will also have guns and this is where your gadgets will come into play. You can swing about with your grapnel, hide up on ledges or statues and swoop down on your enemies and best of all you have of course your different visions. You will need to use these on certain parts of the game to continue with the story and unlock secrets. Also can use in dark places to see your enemies in the dark after all you are the bat! There is so much ways to play through the game and take out enemies but to feel like batman you should just go in and take them out with the slow motion martial arts and kick butt! The boss battles aren’t the best but the story, game play and graphics overcome this and make it an excellent game.
