I needed to get a new battery to my TomTom Go navigator. Battery Upgrade site had this battery easily findable with Google and shipment trough mail was rather fast, about 10 days from Hong Kong to Finland. I got the package, and the only problem with replacing was "How to open the Tom Tom". I had not suitable Torx wrenches nor small plasti piece to pry open the Tom Tom unit as explained in one Youtube guide. Those tools could possibly be shipped with the batteries? Anyhow, carefully following the guiding video I was able to open the Tom Tom unit and replace the battery. The old battery was glued to the place very tight, and heating the battery with hair dryer melted the glue enough so I could rip the old one away. The Tom Tom unit was able to be upgraded with the new battery, but the main problem in the navigator was not fixed with this. I still do have the problem of unit hanging up if external power feed cuts befor closing the unit with power button.
