Advantages: Excellent Playable Game Disadvantages: Need Broadband for Online Gaming
...one time, real war comes alive.
You will need a High spec PC to run this game efficiently, recommended 1.5Ghz, 128mb graphics gard, with over 512mb ddr, a quality monitor, and a joystick for the planes. If you have this then your not using the power of your pc unless you get this game.
Battlefield1942 will cost you a mere 34.99 in the shops and 24.99 on amazon. Thats a bargin. Also I recommend you download all the patches from:
www.eagames.com/official/battlefield1942/home.jsp
This game is superb. I ensure that the first time you play it you will have to go back for some more.

Advantages: Wide Range of Opputunities Disadvantages: Poor AI
...Battlefield1942 is a basic first person shooter that uses a simple Control Point game style where the player captures spawn points. This game is fun but loses its appeal after the first week that you have it.The Levels are nice, they are large and full of oppurtunity. This game has many different vehicles that you can choose from. For the most part the gameplay is nice but the AI is weak. After playing it for about two or three days you can become a pro and whip the enemy every time. A real challenge would be playing against other people on BF 1942 online.A nice game but will get old. There are flaws here and there but it is worth the money....

I think I would have been lost if I had not bought my copy of the Prima Official Game Guide for Sims2 for the PC, quite a while after I bought the game itself. I paid £12.99 for it from a High Street shop. I think I paid full price for it, but you can... more
