This is one of the most exciting mutilplayer games released. However if you purchase it to play solo you will probably be dissapointed as their are no missions as such you would have expected their to be.
Multiplayer however over network or modem is truly a fantastic game. You control a single man whom you can make in turn take control of tanks, spitfires, bombers and even aircraft carriers. Personally I like the whopping great tiger tanks who can blow up practically anything in their path. On the downside you do need a fairly high spec PC and if you go with their minimum or even just the bare recommeded you may be disappoited with the speed you can get.
If you do purchase this game then keep an eye out for the patches and expansion packs which EA keep releasing. The patches in particular help the game alot. All said it is a cool game if you like blowing stuff up with an element of strategy.
